I don't understand how they didn't see what Matthews was saying. He was clearly pointing out this is a value judgment as well. Mika said she wanted it deficit neutral. Matthews disagreed and would obviously love to have it deficit neutral but believes (like Joe said) that it was immoral.

People are too focused on Politicians' EMPTY BUZZ WORDS (i.e. RHETORIC.) You average Joe's are being manipulated by words like "elitist", "socialist".

The issues are: Whether or not you believe that if you are POOR, you are NOT entitled to be treated for serious illness.

And, if you are working class, do you deserve to be FOREVER POOR bc the cost of healthcare (for a serious illness /accident) bankrupts what few savings you managed to responsibly accumulate?

Answer those questions first.

The problem with Joe and the Republicans providing a "smart plan" relating to H/C is, they don't have one.

I'm not going to play the blame game. Hence, blaming the previous administration, but we have to do something. Bush plan didn't work, they didn't give Clinton's plan to work, what now?

I think Obama's plan will help eradicate the use of ER visits instead of going to your Dr. or clinic, if you had coverage.
