  • Is it okay if I laughed a little at this vid, it was funny seeing the deer jump

  • 1:22 That's a nice hit!

  • Dear hunter, what do you think? The crossbow-shots were 20-35 yards. What in your opinion is the maximum (senisble) distance for a crossbow, maybe 225 lbs? Does it work with 50 yards?

  • @SuperComment2000 that depends lagely on what animal you are hunting and what crossbow you are shooting. I have a crossbow that shoots very tight groups at 50 yards. In order to take a deer at that distance you would need for the path of the arrow to be clear from any obstacles ( grass, twigs, ect.) and hope that it was not able to hear the awful noise that most crossbows make. Ethical shots always kill quickly. Practice and confidence are required.

  • Are they bouncing off or going through? I see a lot of hits and the lumenok ends up on other side or on the ground

  • @ThumbsUpBrah Going Through. A broadhead on the point end cuts a 1 to 2 inch hole through the vitals cause massive bleeding. The animals do usually run off, but a good shot will take the animals down within seconds.

  • I like it

  • Wouldnt you be better off using a rifle as it appears that your bow isnt man enough to do the job you are asking of it?

If you are going to shoot those animals I take it that you intend to kill them rather than just maiming them?

I'm not anti hunting but seems to me that you'd might as well be using a uk restricted air rifle!

  • @Encee990 A broadhead that cuts a hole over an inch in diameter travelling throught the lungs of a hog, deer, moose, elk takes that animal down inside 100 yards. These animals can cover that distance in less than 10 seconds. I do not show the tip over, because in most cases it is not captured on film as the brush it too thick. Check out the featured video on this channel. You will see how effective archery gear is. We are not maiming these animals. Do a bit of homework prior to commenting.

  • @5Ivan7 I like! Good video and nice job of showing the uses of the Lumenok. Not just to see where you hit, but shows the flight path, and where to pick the arrow up after a miss, or pass through. I sure wish some commenters would load their vids for us to see. Sounds like some of them are real pros. Lol! I mean a few have commented on the TERRIBLE shooting, but I just can't find their video to see how to do it properly.... Sarcasm intended. Again, good job.

  • @2433006guy Yes, there seem to be a lot of pros in the audience. I can see them now sitting in thier parents basements taking a break from thier video game killing sprees to comment on the real deal. LOL Wat they fail to understand is that skills are etablished with a great deal of practice and knowledge. I am trying to convince some of them that practicing and seeing what your arrow does will help them understand why it does not fly right and then fix it. I'll keep trying. Thanks

  • how long does the light last ?

  • @Disbeck The light will burn brightly for about 40 hours, and then become dim. Each Lumenok that we produce today has a replaceable battery as well to allow them to be repowered as new.

  • should of used explosive tip

  • This is awesome! What amazing shots! I'm jealous!

  • What pound draw is the compound ?

  • @Onebowshot These animals were taken with draw weights between 40 and 70 #

  • u woulda never found that last arrow without that lumenok wich = a great product

  • @MegaGEORGE210 Indeed! Thanks for noticing the usefulness of the Lumenok. I am usually responding to idiot anti-hunters or people who claim to be better shots. Everyone is a better shot. Especially if you can't see their arrow. I love outdoor television that does not use lighted nocks, not! I guess we are supposed trust that they made a good shot when they tell us that.

  • Watching a buck jump ten feet in the air never gets old.

  • lots of good shots but TONS of bad ones!!!

  • @chucknorristotheface The fact that you can see that is the entire point

  • Lol at night ot looks like your shooting a fuckin fireball out of ur bow

  • very nice!! Just a question: how strong (lbs) was the crossbow (I saw 3 shots) and how far away were the animals?

  • @SuperComment2000 The crossbows are between 175# and 200# draw weight and the animalss were all between 20 and 35 yards.

  • I just got a few lumenoks and can't wait to try them out! Good video!

  • @ambergassassin Make sure that you check out some of the instructional videos that I have on my channel. To get the most out of your Lumenoks, be sure to use them as a tuning tool. You will be able to see poor arrow flight due to bow setup and even tune your arrows. Happy Hunting!

  • Hahahaha nice tracer bolts! Oh and the last shot was hiliarious..! Good job!

  • @ISEECREAM Tracer bolts? Hell those are Lumenoks not Tracers. You would not be able to see Tracers by Easton.

  • the last one might be his goal to get next time

  • does any of these animals died!? because i just see the impact and the way of the arrow throught out the animal!

  • @pitc00l We shoot to kill. I edited the video to shoe the shot. These animals usually expire in a few seconds due to massive bleeding in their lungs. The Lumenpok provides the archer a tool to help him find his arrow and see shot placement. When bad shots occur, the hunter knows to step away and give the animal time to expire.

  • @5Ivan7 wow that's pretty interesting to me im not a hunter but probably in the future ima start hunting with bow and arrows, but that an important fact that i was ignoring!

    thanx!

  • 2:46- Morpheus

  • 0:31 epic jump

  • Nice!

  • When i shot a big bull elk it went all the way through.

  • Several bad shots on those pigs. Guts, back, in the middle of the herd etc.

  • wow these arrows even go through the hogs... impressive...

  • 2:46 You're a quick one!

  • That last one was amazing where that boar was so quick to react that he actually avoided the arrow after it had left the bow. That wasn't a bad shot at all...just a quick boar with lightning reflexes.

  • Awesome video

  • So do some of these arrows go all the way through the animals? or are they misses... I keep seeing the glowing nock well behind some of the animals when it looks like you hit them.

  • @CornMakesWhiskey Very astute of you. Arrows placed in the right spot, will go clean through an animal, delivering a massive wound and a kill within seconds. These ain't your grandads bows and arrows!

  • I wish i could shoot like that..

  • @CornMakesWhiskey There are also a couple of isses if you watch close enough

  • @CornMakesWhiskey the best lighted knocks around

  • @TheMossyoak69 Oh I believe it, you can see them very clearly in the vid... During the day at that!

  • 2:48 neo (matrix) hog xD

  • awesome video!!! please keep posting!

  • I find it weird that part one has a much higher dislike ratio when they are pretty much the same thing...

  • @HellionGoddess

I was thinking the same thing. Personally, I liked the first video better. We need more people getting those wild boars under control.

  • Hell Yeah!

  • 0:30 hand stand

  • 2:49 matrix boar

  • @TheHockeydude07 Javelina, not a pig.

  • They doesn't seem to die very fast, why not? I'm not one of them mad animal lovers, just curious

  • @Qez0 It is bowhunting, the deer will die in about 30 seconds to a minute with a good shot. With gun hunting the deer will die instantly with a good shot. A good shot is a double lung or heart shot. Bows make the animal bleed to death, but quicker than a typical cut. A bullet causes the animals body around the bullet to expand up to 6 inches in diameter, which causes shock and damage to the body, killing the animal. They may sound bad, but it is a lot quicker than it seems.

  • Now the only step left is to chang the glow to a sparking fuse and watch as the boar runs away into the bushes out of sight with a trail of smoke behind it and you just wait and listen for *tssssssssssss *BANG!* *whine!*

  • 2:46 luckiest hog alive

  • I can't wait to get mine on film!

  • That's neat how the arrows glow. So then you can see them and shit.

  • @tallswede80 That is the whole point, knowing what your shot just did. Did I hit it or miss? Question answered.

  • @5Ivan7 for hunting in bad light, i can understand these. but for daytime hunting, id rather have like a radio or ultrasonic beacon in it and a one of those directional antenna dealies.

  • @Pimpmastahanhduece The electronuc tracking devices that you suggest are actually available in many forms, but are illegal for use in most states. You are really missing the point though. With a radio tracker, you would not see the path of the arrow. With a Lumenok you can see, even in daylight, the flight of your arrow. This can be helpful in tuning your gear and honing your skills as well as helping in locating a downed animal.

  • i only belive in Deer Boar And Bird hunting but may what are these things you shoot them with?

  • @Bigviking556 These are arrows shot from vertical bows and crossbows. The arrows and bolts are equipped with Lumenok lighted arrow nocks. Its purpose is to allow the archer to immeadiatly see the point of impact of his shot.

  • @5Ivan7 i guess it is alot better for the animals as it helps for quicker more effective shots.

  • There is an occasional bad shot. The beauty of the Lumenok is that it helps the archer see that, and make better choices in further pursuit of his game.

  • No criticism, but a question: I've watched two of these videos and it looks like there are quite a few "gut" shots. I was taught that heart/lung area or shoulder area was a good shot, but that a gut shot caused the animal needless suffering. Am I not seeing gut shots on these? I grant that, from the camera angle, I may not be seeing what I think I am seeing, but would like to know.

  • at 2.45 tht was close lol

  • 0;32 HANDSTAND :0

  • @ 2:40 Looks like that deer has some sort of collar or marking showing someone owns him

  • anyway wat part of the deer do u aim on>?

  • @gertaarz I try and shoot through the lungs, so I aim just behind the front leg about 1/2 up the body. Preferably the shot is on a deer quartered slightly away from the shooter.

  • dude in ur other video dont shoot bears...

  • @gertaarz Bears are legal game in the US and Canada. Their numbers need to be controlled in many areas in order that populations remain healthy, well fed and no threat to people and communities. Hunters do more to help conserve wild habitat and animals than most conservationists. Money that we pay in lisence fees and habitat creation are huge in the efforts to maintain this resource. Monies paid to tree hugger groups end up in the pockets of polititions. Wake up!

  • @5Ivan7 haha kk i aint ah tree hugger thats for sure but i thought was illegal tnx for clearing that up

  • @5Ivan7 but do they die with arrows?

  • @15gordinho15 within seconds.

  • @5Ivan7 Of course but hunters need to learn not to torture the animals, some hunters atleast

  • @gertaarz go away hippie

  • me to i love luminock, theyve helped me out seeing my shot shot placement, but more important i love these videos

  • i love watchin this video i could watch it non stop i think this is there 5th time ive watched this video in a row.. im a true believer of the lumenoks.they work great.. yall should make some more videos of the lumenoks. i like watchin the arrow fly and the impact i love it all.

  • @0:35 Did that arrow go straight through the buck????

  • @richardhoadxxx Yes, The arrow went clean through that buck.

  • I could really watch these lumenoks fly all day long. That last shot was awsome how far it went

  • Its like a traser round. Its badass

  • what braod head was used

  • @turkeyhunterist Closing the Distance TV is the provider of this footage. The broadhead sponsor is True Fire.

  • great video!

  • One question what is the lumenok shot suppose to do? is it suppose to kill it or like scare it off? o-o

  • @CookiesFoYuu If you had any inkling about what you were looking at, you would know the answer to your question. The Lumenok is a great device to show the archer where his shot impacted the animal. Animals shot through both lungs usually expire within seconds. Animals to which a less lethal shot has been delivered may require a bit more time.

  • @5Ivan7 oh ok thanks

  • 2:46 lucky little shit lol

  • did anything ever die?

  • @khanxhs While archery equipment lacks the power to cut the prey in half or drop it in its tracks, it is very effective, usually killing withing seconds. The flora in which deer reside is usually too thick to allow the capture of that video. I suppose that I could find some and put it up so that you could complain about that as well. Go back to your video games. I will conduct myself in real life. If you eat meat, you should think before you respond. What I eat, lived free and died quickly.

  • do you eat them?

  • @freitasnetuno Of course we eat them.

  • I've never hunted before but this looks incredible

  • Nice shots

  • WOW look at all the blood on the doe at 1:22, what broadhead are you using?

  • @MAGNUM870111 It is hard to say, the guys are currently sponsored by Trufire, and many of them shoot the Tru Fire Switchblade

  • Good video man, Keep it up and some super nice shot placments!

  • Good video man, Keep it up

  • I never get tired watching this video.

    Good job.

  • nice shots!

  • Just some small questions, Eric: why did you shoot wild cats and bears? Do you eat everything you shoot (incl. wild cats, bears,....)? Don't you run the risk, using these bows, of just hurting many animals that will get away instead of shooting them with a rifle and having a bigger chance of them being dead right away? Thanks for your response in advance.

  • @Beerschot The food that nature provides us to take by our own hand are animals not raised in pens, fed antibiotics, living only long enough to gain the proper weight for slaughter. Don't you think that the natural cycle that allows an animal to live freely in its environment is a less cruel existance? All animals perish as a result of predation or sickness. Old age makes an animal ill and subject to becoming an easy meal. I always make sure that my prey is dead before I eat it. Wolves don't.

  • @Beerschot I eat what I kill. I have to admit that every shot on my videos is not mine. I have never eaten cat, but am told that it is very good. Bear is good eating. Whenever you take a shot at an animal , regardless the weapon, you run the risk of injuring it. That being said, shots taken with a bow are close range shots, rifles much farther. While arrows lack the power to knock animals down, they are still very effective, killing in seconds. Either way, it is a kinder death than predation.

  • @5Ivan7 the back scratch on cat is amaing!!!!!!!1

  • @Beerschot Go back to Woodstock hippie!

  • r these worth the money???

  • @treehoes If you want to see shot placement and find you arrow, yes they are.

  • @treehoes i would say so. the batteries have a continuous burn time of 40 hours and shelf life of 5 years. so unless you lose arrows (which you shouldn't with these things) i would say the $10 for one of these is well worth it.

  • at 0:49 did it go right throught the boar?

  • @TeamxLGx Yes

  • @5Ivan7 Nice :)

  • What broadheads do u use because u shoot through almost everything

  • @mom2samiam2 That footage was complied by "Closing the Distance" TV I know that they have used Muzzy, Rage and the Switchblade. A well placed shot with a bow of adequate poundage will make an entrance and an exit hole. That is always desired over a single hole high on the body of the animal. It makes for much easier to follow and shorter tracking jobs.

  • Nice shootin'! There's nothin' like being able to see where your arrows have flown! I can see where the lights can definitely aid in the confidence department when the tracking begins.

  • dinner bell@2:01 great kills

  • that piig in the last shot seems to have seen the light coming at him.

  • @Crustydraw That would be incorrect in 2 ways. The animal is not a pig, but a Collared Peckary. The second point is that the animal reacted to the sound and the direction from which it came. The light is directed back toward the archer. Afterall, the Lumenok is for the archers benefit, not the animal's.;

  • @5Ivan7 whoa, sooooorry. I use a lighted nok too so settle down... In your video description it says "pigs beware" so you may wanna change that so nobody makes the mistakeof calling it that again. I said it seems like he seen it not he definetly seen it and I'll never use one of those again. It doees its job in every scene but you must admit it looks like the peckary bucked backwards to avoid the arrow cause the aim was on track to kill if he hadnt moved.

  • @Crustydraw No problem Crustydraw. I have to answer a lot of questions here, and that was simply an honest answer.

  • @5Ivan7 Its cool. Greatvideo

  • @5Ivan7 It's spelled peccary.

  • @5Ivan7 smart pig

  • @5Ivan7 Its a pig you retard a javelina is a PIG !!

  • @USAamericaUSA According to the Arizona Department of wildlife, the Pecari tajacu or Tayassu tajacu is not a pig. Though some people think javelina are a type of wild pig, they are actually members of the peccary family, a group of hoofed mammals originating from South America. I guess that there is still hope that I am not a retard either. Thanks for making that observation though. We all have potential.

  • @5Ivan7 And peccaries are a branch of pigs.... They are a species of "pig" or boar to be more correct... WHat Im trying to say is I know its a Javalina but a Javalina is a type of Pig

  • @USAamericaUSA its not a javelina or a pig,its dinner.

  • That shot at 1:26 was perfect. great shot

  • at 1:26. that deer aint gong too far!!! cuz that is a very very good hit!!!!

  • dam!!! most of them on deer are just amazing shots!!!! i cant describe how good they are. hout 2-3 inches behind and high of the front leg. perfect!!!

  • 1:11 lucky ass deer

  • does it go trought sometimes?

  • @Igotthakrull Excuse Me? I don't quite understand the question.

  • @5Ivan7 does the arrow go trought or do they only bounce off sometimes...

  • @Igotthakrull cool ^^

  • @Igotthakrull The arrow is tipped with a razor sharp breadhead. The cutting swath is between 1" and 2" and the arrow carries it through the animal in most cases. When an arrow hits bone, that sometimes stops the arrow. The arrow never bounces off.

  • c'est bien! bravo!!! tres jolis tirs!!

  • @casellu - Merci. Je souhaite que je pourrais prendre le crédit, mais ces Shats ont été prises par les gens de l'émission "La fermeture à distance" Nous avons fait produire les encoches allumé si. Le seul et unique LUMENOK.

  • 5th shot was beast, almost perfect! The rest of the shoots where good, just the 5th one was the best, next to the Big whitetail that almost dropped after the hit. Great vid, keep them up to piss PETA off=]

  • @dawsonkid100 I will keep them coming, and if PETA stops by they are welcome to a good naturally prepared meal of pork, venison, turkey, bear, squirrel or whatever else had the misfortune of being in season that day. Keep watching.

  • wow nice shots

  • great vid i love these vid, T up and Faved
