theres actually no evidence that the actor that took lsd who jumped off the balcony actually thought she was flying. She was characterized to have mental issues in the long run, and i believe that too much exposure was at stake to tell the truth and in turn it was used as a way for the government to just make more money by illegalizing it, that and charles manson was a excellent ploy to eventually destabilize and undermine or kill the counter culture movement

@WhoKilledMickeyMouse I think with the access to information, and to those who represent us in government (e-mail), we could have a much more democratic society. We largely don't act like one. Our government certainly doesn't seem to represent the society's best interest, as the system best serves the opulent, but all of our progress against this has come from people's movements, which I think are quite democratic. Sure it is very optimistic, to consider this a democracy, but it is up to us.

Thomas Jefferson said: in this country we have two enemies, criminals and the second was government, so let us frame a constitution to keep the second from becoming the first. That is why the 1st amendment guarantees a free press. With the Federal reserve act being passed in 1913 we lost our constitutional republic.
