sounds realy good.. i would like to know what is the size of the pipe? im looking at removing my resonator and my cat on my passat 1.8 so i wanted to know if it would sound like this?? any answers would help thanks
actually cal8er turbos dont want back pressure thats why straight pipes are good for them i wish people would look shit up before they ran there fucking mouths. if you know how a turbo works the wheel only spins one way so exhaust build up trying to push the wheel backwards and force the exhaust back into the motor is not good for it
@tellinthetruth1 actually on the cold side of the turbo the blades are placed to pull in air, on the hot side the blades are faced the other way to push out the air. the wheel is only spinning in one direction but depending on how the blades are facing you can have the oposite function on each side (pull in/ push out)
I think it sounds pretty good, I have a borla catback exhaust on my bmw, and it sounds identical to that. I've been trying to figure out how to make it quieter. Not sure if it is due to me not having resonators though.
Is this the stock 0-60? I ended up racing a guy with a 1.8T and he had a straight pipe, chip, and cold air intake, and I was just curious to know what he may possibly be pushing at that point.
I'm lookin at buying an '01 A4 1.8t with 115k miles on it for $4,800. Are these cars really tempermental? I heard that audi's were really unreliable until like '04, but all the other cars that are in my price range aren't nearly as clean as these A4's.
time for a spark plug in the pipe and propane piped in. you can shoot nice flames

straight pipe isnt good on turbo cars sumfen todo wif airflow
cal8er 2 years ago
no thats on non turbo cars, straight pipe is good on turbos because the turbo creates enough back pressure

What is the 0-60 on a vehicle like this?
one1uv4ev3r 2 years ago
7.8 seconds for 1.8t stick. Turbo has potential for much more though

Audi's always were reliable. I dont know who told you that, but my 1992 audi coupe never had issues.

Really close to the straight pipe 3" exhaust I had on my old SRT-4.
Good job dude, 5 stars from me.
