i saw iced earth live in cyprus with stu. he is really good and im happy that iced earth will keep touring with a really awesome vocalist. Matt Barlow will always be remembered with respect and love for all that he did for metal music. =D

To everyone who mentions his performance being bad: at other points in the year, his vocals were fine. He's completely out of key, even in simple parts. It sounds like his monitor is messed up.

the business has changed a lot in the past 5ish years especially. you need to tour to make money and his rejoining was conditional on being able to have x amount of time with his family. it wasn't working for the dude - props to him though, he went out on top. Iced Earth just need Barlow. There is no group without him. wheter the other albums are good or not, it doesn't matter at all.. Owens belongs to Beyond Fear, Du Block to Into Eternity and Barlow... well, we all know where Barlow belongs to!
