I hate how this guy says it seems logically stupid to lose our hair since it got colder when really he should have done his research. Because we lost much of our hair in africa to cope with the heat but its not like we new that soon the ice age would come cause we weren't phychic and its not like we could regrow all our fur back after a million years of having short hair and the reason we stayed in those colder places cause we could then make clothes to stay warm so long hair wasn't neccasery!

@highperactive1 That may be true but not every species evolves the same way that's why we call them species because its their unique characteristics that distinguish them from the rest of their relatives even for those who live in the same habitat like the chimpanzee and the gorilla both evolved in the same habitat yet they both evolved to be separate species just like how we became separate as well. Oh and most of the furry prime apes of Africa live in the Congo not the hot safari like we did.

@wildlife011803 Fur is an advantage for land animals whether they are in Africa or the arctic. That fact is borne out by all the fur covered land mammals that walk the planet today. They evolved to have fur because fur is an advantage. A lack of fur on humans indicates that evolution has selected a disadvantageous trait or that there is more to the story than evolution can offer.

@highperactive1 I get what ur trying to say but mammals in general do not gain fur b/c it is an advantage,however our first mammailian ancestor probably did have an advantage with fur in their habitat but as a result the genetic code for fur has been passed on to almost all their descendents so we have more evolved with it then evolved to gain it 4 our benefit,but fur can be an advantage depending on the habitat but also a disadvantage wich is why naked mole rats almost lack fur.

Then recently only 50,000 years ago Humans and Neanderthal belnded back together. This means they had NOT become separate species in their time apart. Which means they were still the same species as the one they originally split from & could therefore breed with it. Which means Ergaster=Erectus=Sapiens=Neanderthal. You cant break that logic.
