  • very nice house

  • Hey you didn't you didn't prime your hoes what if the pump is above the pool

  • Thank you for the very detailed, yet easy to understand instructions.

  • Great video. Well done.

My pump does not have a "High Speed" switch and I have to vacuum SUPER slow. Is this right?

  • i need help..everitime i vacuum the pool.. the debri reutrns back the pool..anybody know what might be going on

  • @3klo3 I think the debri did't go through the filter.

  • I've said it before, but EVERY POOL OWNER should check out WW . VACVICE . COM for the latest amazing pool product, helps me a great deal when vacuuming the pool. Great vid here also guys, well done !

  • Jason, VERY HELPFUL!!!!!!!!!!! This was very detailed and easy to understand!!!! U R THE MANNNN!!!!! 1 Sly Dogg!!!

  • Thanks for the help.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for doing the video. I'm a new pool owner and I had no clue how to set up the skimmer.

  • POOL OWNERS ! This video was a great help, thankyou, for those of you who struggle, you can make life so much easier with a product called the Vacvice. Trust me, it's so easy and cheap to buy. Don't take my word for it, see the video, search on here for Vacvice you will LOVE IT.

  • The best video on showing exactly how to prime the vac.hose and connecting it to skimmer.others don't mention much on how to get rid of the air first.

  • I got a de Hayward for inground pool. When the filter starts running the return jet is nice and strong and the about five minutes later it's barely powerful at all, why is this? And then when i go to vacuum i get like maybe 30 seconds of good suction.

  • Great video!

  • I did all these connections but when i turn on the filter nothing seems to happen any reason to this?-- sorry for the confusion.

  • dont these guys know how to feed the hose into the pool removing the air at the same time ...

  • @birdpusher

thats funny! we have the same argument among our guys. some like it my way and others your way. both get the job done don't they?

  • great video thx!

  • Thanks. If your pump doesn't have a switch on the back of the pump then it's probably a one speed. These pumps are high speed only. If you know that you have a 2-speed pump but there's no switch on the back of the motor then it's operated in a control panel or other component.

  • When I vacuum my pool I notice the dirt and debris entering through the return jet. Any suggestions on that?

    Thank you

  • If you're using a cartidge filter, the filter itself could have a tear in the pleats allowing debris to go through and back into the pool. If you are vacuuming large concentrations of fine particulate like dirt or sand, some of it may pass through the filter and back into the pool and you will have cloudy water shooting in through the returns. But you should not have any cloudy/dirty water returning to the pool ulness this is the case.

  • I am not using a cartridge filter.

    I use a sand filter.

    Any other suggestions.

    Thank you in advanced.

  • Cracked lateral or center pipe inside the filter tank. The laterals are the fingers that extend from the center of the center pipe at the bottom of the tank. Have to remove all sand to find out for sure. Can still blow dirty water in through returns if vacuuming a high concentration of particulate, but if you're vacuuming normal stuff the problem is inside the filter.

  • Easily the most detailed vac vid that I have seen on the tube.

How do you vacuum in highspeed if the pump has no highspeed switch?
