Hey, it's not even my birthday (well, *almost*), but I really appreciated this video! I've recently taken up learning hacky sack this winter as an indoor/alternative workout when the weather's crappy outside. Just being able to string a few basic moves together becomes great fun & is phenomenal exercise in disguise! Thanks for very lucidly demo-ing & explaining a few more basic drills that I can now add to my routine as I try to get better & better. Good vid; I appreciate it.

This is great, I tried learning independently one time and I gave up, but at my school hack circles are big so I got pretty good just practicing with my friends.

A sick game is Poison, where if you hit it 3 times you can catch it and peg someone. Then if you get pegged 3 times, you take a hit from everyone playing.

u could play 2 in a boot. its when u kick it twice and then boot it at someone. if u get hit u can try and kick it before it hits the ground, if not its an out. 2-3 outs are usually good.

Hey man i really appreciate this video! Im 15 so im about twice the age that you would have been when you started but im hoping to get good at hacky sack. I got one at the beach on vacation and carried it in my bookbag, a few weeks ago in gym me and some friends got bored and started playing. Now we have a circle of about 10 people in gym every day. They say im good at hacky sack but i feel like its just cause i keep the sack moving, so the stall advice will be very helpful!

He is using a sandbag you can get them at zumies, I just bought one from zumies today, if you want to buy a hacky sack get it from zumies they have plastic bead hacky sacks and, sand bags, sand bags work a ton better than plastic beads but sand bags cost more money, mine was about $8 and plastic bead's cost about $5

at lunch tons of my friends we get a big circle going and we play a game we made up called battle sack! everyone gets in a circle and one person tosses the hackey sack to anyone in the circle you can touch it however many times you want then pass it to someone else but if u touch it last your out or if its what we call sackable which could be played then that persons out, its fun!

I play a game where you toss the hacky sack to the first person, they get as many touches as they want, then they play it to someone else and either say, 1, 2, or 3 (try to say it early) the person who recieves the hacky sack has to take either 1, 2, or 3 touches depending on what the person calls out. game continues til everyone's eliminated, you get eliminated by taking to money touches, calling too late, making a bad pass, etc.

my friends and I play elimaination, 4 or 5 people get in a circle, after hitting the hack 3 times its live, after this you kick it at someone to get them out. They are out unless there able to play it before it hits the ground. Its a fun thing to do to show off skill and beat your friends :)

4 kicks in a row makes it live, you can kick on the 5th(or higher) at anyone in the circle, if the get hit, theyre out.
