I think these new effects are better than the original, ones by billions and I hope if a special edition dvd of Earthshock is produced that the effects from the cyberguns are done better than in the original as well as hopefully making the space freighters explosion better than i the broadcast version.
Adric's demise was very poignant compared with Gan's demise and also more memorable too.
