ArchmageMelek y don t you cover the sides with stone and the middle then use water whitch will turn in a circle with the dirt on top and use a glass dome witch will mean you will have light in the day,also you should build ur path in the centre of every sides witch will mean that you will have 4 sides

i suggest you make a 2 tall glass wall so if you brack the reed/wheat/cactuc it wont jump up over the edge and just land on the dirt or sand :D and sun light will stil let in

As far as not knowing what it is... noone but Notch knows until it's released. Generally the Friday updates consist of one or more of the following:

New monsters

New recipes

New blocks

New map feature

notch should add some uses for cacti, like barbwire fencing maybe?i have no idea... to bad you cant say, write in a book, then right click on a bookcase with the book to put the book in, and right click with your bare hands to open a user interface with titles of books, and you could left click on one of the titles to select the book to take out, and right click with it on normal blocks or empty space to read it and or write in it with a feather...16 words/feather?
