Andrew McAdam, 16, died early Friday morning after being stabbed during an annual bush party on forestry land near Penticton. 19 year old was charged.

Andrew McAdam was a few days shy of his 17th birthday. He enjoyed playing hockey, swimming, dirt biking and motorcycles and recently became a certified lifeguard.
"He was a great kid,\" said family friend Celeena Verecki. "He loved his family and was so good to his mom and sisters. Everyone who knew Andrew liked him."

But something tells me as parents you could have done something to stop him from doing drugs and drinking, that would probably have changed the outcome of his life.

OF COURSE THEY'VE TRIED BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT FAMILIES DO! THEY TRY AND LOOK OUT FOR THEIR LOVED ONES. I'm so sorry for your loss, my thoughts are to his friends and family.
My mom's friend's son was murdered at the age of 16 aswell. The trial is going on right now.
im so sorry he was taken, from the pictures and video he seemed like a very energitic and fun guy.
