good to see you play some chuck brown. a true d.c. go-go legend. if you can try to get his version of people make the world go round. his bass player glenn ellis is really showing his ass....lol

also check out some older rare essence tunes with mike "finky ned" neal on bass. that's who i look up to, being a d.c. native myself.

Thanks - If you don't have it, you should try to get Chuck Brown's Live '87 double album - it's worth getting just to hear Ricky Wellman's hi-hat work - a truly amazing player. He went on to play with Miles Davis for a while.

"Sugar Foot" is definitely a complete player. Many people outside of DC criticize GO GO for it's simplicity without realizing that the musicians in the older more established bands (Chuck Brown, E. U., Trouble, and some of Rare Essence) are accomplished writers and producers for mainstream music.
