  • Props to Marryin' Sam, he makes it here although his movements aren't exaggerated enough IMO. This is originally a cartoon so everything has to be HUGE! Chorus behind sam does a good job with diction but someone teach them how to count to 8. totally out of sync. Nonetheless, very enjoyable performance. Its nice to see someone else do this well because I hate watching my own musicals because I tend to be too judgmental.

  • This is my winter musical at school...

  • Theres wayyy too many people on that small stage

  • wow your high school productions are so good! we have no talent at our school...

  • We're going to do this play in my camp. The cast list goes up Friday! I'm so excited! You guys are really good. I hope ours will be as good...

  • My high school did this back in 1977 and I loved this part better than anything, except that "more beloved horse"

  • WTF! this is not even that good. my highschool is doing it and ours is so much better. i think if they just took hours of practice to work on their dancing and singing, it could be a little better. and it sounds like jubilation t porne post

  • i am doing this play for my middle school its not as good as this one but still pretty good!

  • This is an absolutely fabulous production of Li'l Abner, especially for a high school. All the choral stuff is there, Sam is wonderful, the orchestra is great ... Bravo!

  • ima put this as my featured vid on mah channel, it's so epic!

  • That was actually really good- I enjoyed that!

  • It sounds like the chorus is singing the harmony parts written in the score. That is pretty rare for a high school show.

  • This is the first Jubilation vid I've come across that didn't make me feel embarrassed for the people involved! You guys are a rockin high school!

  • im gunna do this show. auditions are monday. i want pappy yokum, or marryin sam

  • I find this amazing. xD My school is currently doing a production of the show and we actually borrowed and/or bought alot of set pieces from Countryside High. So, we have that EXACT Jubilation statue. x3

And this is just....really good. *A* And you guys seem to have ALOT of people on stage for this one song. owo; That looks like our whole cast....[there was LOADS of double casting done for us..x_x]

  • Ah! This is why I looked you up! I need help with props, especially the "statue." Is is available, OR can we get advice on how to make one? Thanks

    Please write back, everyone!

  • Well, all I can really help you with is the materials ours' is made of. Our "statue" is pretty much cut-out styrofoam, painted and put on a wooden stand.

  • Wow - sounds like you kids really understand artistic talent and originality! Just "borrow"/copy from other people! Brilliant!! Thank GOD you don't have to think for yourself or be inventive. God forbid. Disgusting.

  • our play was better

  • this set is soo good!

  • he's really good.

  • sorry, one more thing, who was your director, musical director, lighting and scenic designers? give em all credit!

  • ive done theater for years, and except for the "contemporary" costumes, you guys are excellent, great orchestra, diction, choreography is fantastic and you pulled it off. lots of talent and a really great show. you should all be proud. sets, lights and passion are all super!!!

  • That was so good. I am sorry i missed it..

  • Wonderful!

  • THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS! :)
