There are lyrics. But yes, this is the basic length of the anthem. When I stayed in India, we had to sing the anthem before school ended, so I know.

I am an American first and foremost, and I plan to join the US Army in a few years. But Indian blood runs through my veins, and I couldn't be prouder of my heritage. Jai Hind! and God Bless America!

My professor explained that was likely b/c most Indian immigrants come from Brahmin and Kshatriya backgrounds. Been to India tho - it's a famously diverse nation with a tremendously rich cultural heritage.

Sikhs recently earned the right to retain their articles of faith in the army - beard, hair, turban, etc. Any idea what MOS you want? I was 13F.

No, I don't know. Like I said, I'm just planning to join the Army. I would like to work on helicopters, but I don't know if Lasik will preclude me from doing so. Also, Tamil Nadu is literally right next to Kerala. There are a lot of nice places in Kerala to visit, like Munnar. Just... don't go to Kochi. Or Ernakulam. Trust me when I say that if you go there, the most prominent memory you'll bring back is the smell.
