@tobiluver2001 The live version at Sega's E3 addressed this. Shadow fans deserved representation, but we wanted to reflect a pre-Dreamcast cast initially.

However, if you catch a glimpse of Dr. Robotnik's "Eggbook" profile, his only Friend is Shadow the Hedgehog. ;)

@Lukillamaster It was Sega's call. We labeled him 'Robotnik' up until Sega confirmed he'd be 'Eggman' for Sonic 4.

Robotnik, btw, is his American name. In the original Japanese games on Genesis, he was named 'Eggman.' So both are technically pre-Dreamcast. :)
