Yes, that's amazing, and the more practical way to mount the car station is on the right hand side of the car. As with the lanterns, they should use hall lanterns mounted on the right hand side of the lobby with the hall stations.

It sure is, but the smallest Dover I've been on was the 1000 lb. elevator at the 39th Street Medical Building.

Dumbest places to put the fixtures! The place where the certificate is from what I can see from the video, the buttons can be placed there, and the bell indicators on the back wall, wtf?

Yes, this is a fun elevator, but if there's no room on the right door jamb, or if there's accessibility issues, then they could put the car station to the side.
