Almost anything will work as a base. I would crumple up newspaper and wrap it in tape. Or you could crumple up aluminum foil into a tooth shape. Then paper mache right over it. Might not be dry by tomorrow though!

I wouldn't have shown the non-toxic paint that way you could have had the "too many fumes" excuse to help you fend off the jerks who are calling this video stupid.

I guess it was decent, pretty standard paper mache tips, but you could have sped it up while making the mold. The talking and explaining every step sort of made me drowsy. Fast forwarding here and there would get through it and still be enough to explain.

You can make some artillery shells with this. Make one end flat and the other end more pointed. Then paint it gray or black.

Yup, but wipe off some of the mixture. It doesn't have to be real thick. Then it sticks real well. Give it a try, you will get the hang of it fast. Its easy and cheap.

It depends on how many layers of paper you put, but generally you have to let it sit over night.

Thanks for asking! In this video you just watched there is a pair of balloons that are red and green. I am currently making that into a watermelon pinata! Once the shell is done and dried you pop the balloons then you fill it with candy. That video is coming this week! Stay tuned!
