Yes the zr1 is badass but NO where near the best car in the world. I can name like 15 cars off the top of my head that are better (not necessary faster) and others would agree. Its just the butterfly valves. This was something that was on the z06 and the zr1got the same feature.. I think I would get a z06 and just put a 500cid LS2 in it to run with the Zr1..lol..
It's the stock exhaust, he's showing off his part which opens the exhaust fully, which is normally controlled by a fuse. His part uses a remote that opens the exhaust with the touch of a button with a simply, quick install.
If I had a ZR1, this would be the first aftermarket part I'd buy.
yes. it lets you open the valve yourself, and you can use it on any vette with a dual mode exhaust, which would be all ZR1s and Z06s and base vettes that have the option
actually not all of them, its optional for the LS3 but ive seen lots more vettes with the option than without it. but now the same people that make the mild2wild sell a conversion kit for people who dont have the NPP option.
hmm,I guess its been awhile for me,I used to work at a Chevy dealership and I remember when the first LS3 came in,I was inspecting it and thats when I noticed the Valves,and I know the 07's didn't have that option.
the first car that came in was the Convertible Yellow....I really do miss working there.

yeah its at 3000rpm when they open up,
all vettes from 08 have the Valves,it used to be only the Z06 but they also made it for the 08 coupe aswell.
