To be fair, I'm not a Linkin Park fan at all, never have been. But I've certainly got a respect for them after this. I'll give hats off to anyone with talent, and to be able to sing like that is definitely a talent. (I am actually a 30 year old metal head myself, but can appreciate any sort of music if it's good musicianship).

It is a Minor Pentatonic scale with an augmented fourth added. They play this song in A-Minor blues scale, and Chester sings the augmented fourth, wich is a Eb. To sum it all up, Chester sings it perfectly, but if you think it sounds bad, well, that's your opinion.
