  • what part of the sky? East, west, north, south?

We've been seeing a star(?) in the western sky right after sundown. Looks like twinkling blue green and red. Didn't notice it until about 2 months ago.

I also see a very bright star come up with the moon in the east.

  • Top star rating, ta lol :)

  • what you are experiencing is Chromatic Aberation

  • what equipment did you use

    camcorder + telescope etc?

  • it IS venus coooooool

  • bring your telescope the the humber stuary ..been lots of good things to see

  • be proud my teacher showed this to us today during lesson. even though it idnt really relate much to the lesson :S. anyways, this is really cool. btw, whats the music yr using? it sounds amazing.

  • Thanks, that cool. The music I wrote myself and the track still needs to be finished. Search gridkeepermusic for more tunes.

  • oh i see i think your videos are truley amazing specially the ones of the spaceships are they our spaceships ?

  • Some of them are. I believe many of them are not here to help us out.

  • i dont want to anoy you by keep asking questions but am truley fascinated can i ask you more about it ? they are not here to help us out ? how have you come to this conclusion ? i am asking you this coz i am truley fascinated

  • I've noted colour changes in stars with my naked eye - from white to blue to red to green in seconds. I still don't know what causes this?

  • I've always believed it's the air packets in the atmosphere which cause this but how can they cause the clour to change and hold for a few seconds before changing again. Wierd.

  • nice dnb music

  • cool pics and a really cool scope

  • By the way many people have asked for what is shown in this video. More importantly it shows that when viewing a star or object in space, close up, other stars are NOT visible in the background which is the main point of this video. And no I was not with John when I filmed Venus in the daytime with just the camcorder.

  • excuse my ignorance on this subject but i am truley fascinated i just wanted to ask what the significance is as to why you cant view other stars when you zoom in on a particular star for a close up ? its a genuine question that my small brain dosnt understand :)

  • I don't know why but I'd guess it has something to do with optics.

  • It's Venus. This video is showing us filming things in a normal way. Why do you talk to me like some sort of idiot? And you want ME to give you answers? Co/ordinates have already been given, where have you been? Maybe you've still got your head up your arse or maybe you want numbers instead of directions, if so go talk to NASA.

  • watchers are getting closer. lucifers n.w.o. is near.

  • I saw this 'Venus' about eight days ago, changed colour just like that through my scope. You must be North of the River!

  • The Ancients are here.......

  • Where you live? But where do you live now?

  • The UK

  • Thanks for the video. Is that as zoomed in on Venus as you can get with these tools?

    5*****

  • Good post but what i want to know is how you penetrate this 'light' to find these spacecraft? 5*

  • find the symbology for color

  • Awesome! Thanks for showing the scope. When I can spare the money I will try to buy one and start looking up myself.

  • I have been watching the same thing in the west sky for about 1/2 year now here in Tulsa, OK. BUT in the past week what ever it is is getting closer. All I have is binoculars but I can see it flashing different colors.

  • Could be the one I am watching in my East then. (Number one on my vid.)

  • Nick nick! Alabama here I come!

There are also 2 similar ones on my 'stars?' video. Been watching them for weeks. One is close to Orion.

May I object to the 'Object' being rejected? why?

  • The color of a star is linked to its temperature and its temperature is linked to what processes are taking place in and on the surface of the star. Stars evolve during their lives, going through different phases of elements burning. Say a star has finished burning its hydrogen and goes to the helium burning phase, this will change the temperature (hence the color) of the star.

  • How do you explain the constant colours changing so rapidly? May wish to see my 'stars?' video.

  • Sure, where're they ?

  • You have only one huess :)

  • Exchange the 'h' for a 'g'

  • Its a planet.

  • 4:50 yes Venus, all other stars filmed after tat are Orion's Belt and ones below it.

  • Venus is the second planet from Sun, so there is very hot as in result different gases are burning and making color changes.
