  • Timing is everything and yours is excellent.

  • VERY GOOD! God, listening to this takes me WAAAAY Back (makes me REALIZE how old IREALLY AM) :)

    Keep up the GOOD work

    :)

  • Very Nice. I just played the bass part to this. I like when songs were great like this-TF

  • @TheChannel27 The rhythm of the bass in the intro is different than the rhythm of the keys, but both of them go together so very well!

  • this is fucking awesome!!!!

  • OK, i understand.

By the way, i really like the sound of your keyboard.

    What model is it ?

  • Roland RD700SX.

  • ... minus the 5th ?

  • I do not play the exact intro. I have manipulated it to make it easier for me to play.

  • Hello ,

The Bb of the intro looks more like a Ab6/9/Bb to me... Am i correct or not ?

Ab with 6th and 9th (9th on bass) to be more explicit.

  • Thanks for the reply but how could that be? 13+11? It is either 11 or 13. The 13th is the M7 of a chord or 6+7th note while 11 is 4+7the note. Ex.. C11 is Bb/C and C13 is BbM7/C. This is called mnemonic memory device. On the first comment, correct and right chord is Cadd9 flat 5 6th. What you are playing is C13. Pls ask any expert online.

  • Yes, 6+7=13, 4+7=11 and 2+7=9.

    Maybe it's better to change

    C13+11 (no3rd, no5th)

    for

    BbM7+5/C

    and

    C13 (no5th, no 11th)

    for

    BbM7-5/C

  • @butchsoy 13#11 is in fact a chord. Cadd9 b5 is wrong because it leaves out the flat 7th, Bb.

What's an online expert? You mean like a professional youtube responder? or how about a certified online critic? C.O.C. yea, that one works.

  • Nice cover. Just to comment, your chords in verse C13+11 is wrong. The right chord is Cadd9 flat5 6. In simpler terms, Root is C, chord is D. By the way there is no chord such as C13+11. It is only C13

  • The seperate notes of the chord you mention from low to high are:

    C E F# A D

As inversion this could be mentioned as Dadd2/C.

The notes of the chord I play are:

    C Bb D F# A

I have sheet music of the song "Florida room" by Donald Fagen and in this song this chord is mentioned as C13+11, that's why I have used this notation here as well.

The notes of C13 as I play it are:

    C Bb D E A

Also because I found this in the sheet music of Donald Fagen that I have.

  • Can you put the chords up? This is a great cover!

  • Thanks! I have placed the chords to the right of this movie. Just press "More info" and you will find them. Succes!

  • Thanks so much!!

  • Classic song. Very hard to do, but you nailed it. great job!

  • utterly outstanding, everything is great. I hate people that judge others on youtube as if they are experts...JOB WELL DONE

  • Great job with this one too! You nailed the keyboard:) 5*****

  • i really like the piano work u do on this-the vocals arent the greatest but at least you tried :D

  • The first part of the chorus ("Hurry, don't be late, I can hardly wait, I said to myself when we're old") is hard to do because in the original it sounds like very close harmony. This was the part I was the least satisfied with when I made my previous video a year ago and also because I used to play another chord there (C13+11 instead of Bbmaj7/C) and couldn't find a proper melody that fits.
