  • stfu with the long ass comments, nobody gaf about your long essays...

  • I'm happy I ran across this video again. I am trying to move to Scandinavia soon... not sure which country but I was a little upset when I saw some of the comments on my videos about me needing to stay home or go back home. I'm like America? lol comes to find out the people who had to say rude things about me wanting to move to Europe were a lot of white americans but not one person from the actual countries that I was interested in. I am sure that I will make good friends when i do go there.

  • @khalilahinjapan Hope you come with friends, and because of school or work. Make sure you keep a return ticket.

  • I agree I mean discrimination happens for many reasons, be it the car you drive, the hair cut you have, your appearance, your disability, how much money you have, I think we need to do what we can to avoid all discrimination, not just shine a spotlight on Racism and not constantly remind people about it, Racism is dying out, let it die with a whimper and with the obscurity it deserves.

  • oh BTW, "PORCH MONKEY" is not a slur, just a condition.

  • @AbbytheEmigrant I agree with you 100 percent. I'm white and trust me, I'm not racist so I'm gonna be the bigger man and call these x number of people SPOILED ROTTEN BRATS!!! They're a bunch of self righteous self pitying hypocrites who would cut their legs out from underneath them if they'd knew it would benefit only themselves. Why? Cause it's always been about them. It is about them. It always will be about them.

  • Abbytheemigrant.. actually, you can live those conditions and still have access to the internet. He could still live among, what was it you said "dirt, rubble, and sticks" and still have access to the internet. But hay, lets not get into how people in other parts of the world (third world) live and how they come about to getting internet, etc...i get it, you wanted to get back at him and in that context it's ok to use sterotypes to make him feel what he was trying to make you feel. aha, got it.

  • @nefse04 I forgot to say yeserday... your dog profile photo stirs up desire for my own:) Geez! (sigh)

  • @abby... cont... anyways, thanks for the videos. I enjoy watching them. take care

  • AbbytheEmigrant... it's funny how we all easily fall onto the stereotypes we so hate others to bestow upon us. It's interesting how you said "Like what dirt, rubble, and sticks have done to your personality." and "You are a bitter jealous refugee whom others from every country in the world have pissed on." You stooped to ElAmirAbdelKader level. You automatically believed him to be a refugee and living among dirt, rubble and sticks because that's how you assumed he lived... it's crazy but sad

  • @nefse04 I didn't stoop to his level. I said it to affect him, just as it were his intentions. As a matter of fact, how could he live in those conditions AND have internet? He wrote to piss me off and I served it back equally. Quite a superficial view, don't you think?

  • @ElAmirAbdelKader cont... her "true African Roots." There are people out there that are so blinded by racism black people that they do reject the fact that their ancestors did come from africa but i think they do that not from ignorance because honestly it would be an obvious stupidity if they did, but for fear that people will just say "oh, your roots are african so you are african." And that would be that. They dont' want to deal with that so they distance themselves. which is understandable.

  • @ElAmirAbdelKader cont... and culture but i'm not an American and don't know the experiences of Americans. Same for my African American friend. If she goes to any one of the african countries (by the way all are very different) she'll have nothing to relate to it other than gee the skin color. She can learn the language, culture, etc... but she'll never really know what it is to be an African from (ghana, nigeria, somalia, ethiopia, sudan, egypt, etc...) Abby wasn't acting "white" or giving up

  • @ElAmirAbdelKader Ok, so i'm really sad for you. I'm African and i honestly can't believe you just said all that you did. I suggest you pick a book up and read it and not let it hit you on the head. All black people on the planet could have their roots stem from Africa but that doesn't make everybody "africans." Case in point... i'm african and i have african american friends. Our skin color is similar. Other than that, we are very different. I can live in America, learn the language, etc...

  • It' just a Joke. Nigga. Get over it....

  • i is of agree with you ladie. i thinks you idea of racism is always here. so wat!? you are right! only has friends of every race! is why many people, some will like to you, some not! always will br racists, so what.! ^_^

  • You have a great attitude Abby, and I totally agree about not wallowing in the past. Social reproduction of that attitude only hinders progress. Oh and you're really good at speaking your mind... most people would have like 50 cuts in a monologue of this length ^.^

  • Nice video, I like it! :-)

In my oppionion, theres nothing to add to this.

And... errr ... I am white. :-))) Haha, Im loughing like hell right now, because this is racism and through that I wanted to say, that I'm no racist! Get it? ;-)

But alltough I'm white, I'm still not wihite! In Nazi-Germany they measured the colours of blue and blond, to identify whos "real" aryan. Sick!

Hey, and I totally agreee, surround yourself with people you like... the rest is unimportant!

  • Looks like racism in USA is like nationalism in Europe.Dissatisfied and frustrated people which aren't satisfied with themselves won't be satisfied with others either. And they'll always find a way to express all the bad they have inside towards someone different from them just because their rage is caused by someone like them, or most common, themselves. Now, this is a smart woman! Get over it!Don't try to find racism in or in between the lines and if you do notice it just ignore their evil asses

  • @UpdatesBlow I agree and that overly defensive, self centered, egotistical mindset is apparent in everyone and everything at some point in their existence; as is the opposite. However, even when one embraces their flaws as they embrace their strengths, they may still be deemed as such. Ultimately, the burden of judgement lies on the judge. Let he or she deal with their perceptions.

  • I think there is another perspective to racism than what meets the eye. We think racism is so clean cut --race, religion, sex, location, etc. But I think it's even simpler than that. At the heart of racism is insecurity. People generally want to feel superior to others. This is a desire everyone has. The most extreme cases of racism I've seen are fueled mainly by this desire. Hitler's perfect race, the crusades, Salem witch trials, etc. Insecurity and ignorance perpetuate the whole thing.

  • Fuck America and fuck the black Americans too! those bastards are so proud of being American and they're rejecting their thru roots and their thru culture and history which is AFRICA...and they're praying a white Jesus as well (a religion that white folks brought to them) but they keep complaining and talkin shit about white people...pathetic sons of bitches, y'all ain't got no self-esteem...black outside and white inside just like that chocolate Bounty...VIVA AFRICA! FUCK AMERICA

  • @ElAmirAbdelKader And by the sound of you, America has fucked you too!

  • @AbbytheEmigrant Wow so you are now somebody because you call yourself American?? bitch you're a joke. I'm from the West Indies but i see myself as a PROUD AFRICAN like all the Caribbeans, we've been deported at the same time...When i get the first chance, you'll see me walkin there with no shoes on and eating fufu with my bear hands..so come the fuck down off your small white planet cuz it ain't yours...and America keeps fuckin you black guys, not us...we do know where we're comin' from, u not.

  • @ElAmirAbdelKader I didn't become someone because I was born in the U.S. ya' dumb cunt! I was born in the States and environment is of the strongest influence. Like what dirt, rubble, and sticks have done to your personality. "Come down off your white planet?" People of color have the largest total population of the planet earth, dumb cunt! You are a bitter jealous refugee whom others from every country in the world have pissed on. Sucks to be you!

  • @ElAmirAbdelKader fucking dumb ass

  • @ElAmirAbdelKader did u rele just say fuck america well go have fun in africa with ur fuckin aids and half retarded population u stupid fuck

  • @Dylanfurches88

he probably did, his name is like from iraq or something o__O

  • Cool vid :)

  • you said you dont have a time but u made a video for 10:41 long hahahhahah good one :D

  • Your ugly. Thats not racism, its just a fact.

  • @TigonBeast Since you like facts so much...you're a worthless piece of shit whose mother should have worn a condom. Lol! :)

  • @TigonBeast

    ooooh snap. owned

  • since all you dumb fucks are complaining about racism...did you ever started to think where did it begin? Migration of people from their birthplace. There are different kinds of people adjusted to different kinds of lifestyles and regions of the world. You can't expect people to love you when you bring your habbits and style of life to places where shit isn't done your way. racism=> civil war because in a certain population, there are different "factions" by race. less migration = less problems

  • You are very wisdom person :).

  • @UrGurly thats because

1.blacks were enslaved for hundreds of years

    2.some whites are still racist

    3. it doesn't matter if a black is racist(whites wre racist for hundreds of years.)

    courtesy of Antonia~ =)

  • You are a stunningly beautiful woman. Of course you know that... but I had to say that because.... wow, you're features, your face, your skin, your eyes.... marvelous. Wait.... what was the topic?

  • Do you go to Obama's hair stylist ?

  • Abby, your intellect is appreciated. Thank-you for being beautiful, unbiased and proud. The scriptwriters of channels like recklesstortuga could learn a lot from you.

  • I think that people focus too much on the wrong side of racism. You always hear people whining about someone locking the car door when they walked by, and other stuff that doesn't even matter.

Racial sensitivity is one thing that fuels racism.

Giving the word "nigger" so much power is destructive.

People strive for equality as if it's something that takes decades to reach, but really it's just a thought away.

    I'll stop before I start ranting ;P

  • I love how you say a quick video, but its actually 10 mins

  • @SuperUnknownXD lol! Thumbs up!

  • I agree and disagree with this woman. My feelings I can't put it together right now because my mind is too clouded when it comes to this sort of issue. But I will say that I've come to find that one black person, for example, can be just as racist as the other white person. It ain't justifiable, but I guess you could manage to find some equality there.

  • I completely agree with you. As a gay, South-American, I know that racism is only harmful if you handle it wrongfully. And you are being an ally too when you support racism by being affected by it. Racism will only be over when people stop being affected by it.

  • i dont think its a waste of time when I AM THE ONE who is having racist remarks said to. I ignore it yes, but it cannot just be completely thrown away because then society will think it is ok to be racist. Racism should be something people are aware of. If i misunderstood what you were saying, then inform me. as far as everything else you said about your enemies, i DEFINATELY agree with you. Great video overall.

  • -.- ammm.... I am 100% nobody whatched your video till end... 4the God sake, what can you telling about racisem 10minutes???

  • I agree, everyone of the opposite race is not our enemy, I traveled to Europe and only experienced racism in Spain, Every other country was open and treated me very well and respectfully. Even in the US, I live in a all white state yet I rarey experience racism because I go in with a mind set as I am just a valuable as you

we are all worthy. No one is better than the next in my mind as it relates to how God sees us. I am somebody, You are somebody too!

  • lol?

  • I disagree, racism? DON'T get over it, b'cause if we do, we'll loose the ability to recognise it as it is A DISEASE in society, a problem to be adressed to find a solution, not to be ignore or overlook, as the attitude of "well that's life man/ hey, what can u do?" etc.. is the breeding ground for this problems.

Dignity tell's us to fight for what ir right to defend ourselves when attacked, and that aplies to everyone

    And i'm a withe-latino guy.

    Peace.

  • The majority of young blacks at my school or my state wont let rasicm go.And to add on to that they probably havent even lifted a finger to work. Let the past be the past.Including the fact America was one of the first countrys to stop slavery.SO GET OVER IT!

  • I agree with her.

As a side note where i live.Young black people are more racist. They can call everyone else "niggers", but when a white person says it..O SHIT there being racist!? like how does that make sense.A black person can say get your white ass out of here and thats not racist, but when a white person says get your black ass out of here! O HELL NO! its racist? seriously?!

  • @UrGurly Your so right!

  • This topic does seem to be a sensitive issues with black people, and being black myself, I witness it too much. The troll on this video's comments is proof of the ignorance itself about race. Some black people seem to cling onto these extreme racial ideas or ways of life without realizing how narrow minded it looks. Its themselves that are the ones who suffer the most from this way of thinking, not the people they think they are 'against.' Well, anyways great video and agree with you too.

  • im white and proud of it. my girlfriend of a year and a half is black and proud of it. why are people racist?

  • @BDAShadow1 Some people need an enemy to justify their existence. You can always tell a racist by their obsolete belief systems and hypocritical moral precepts. They want to fight injustice–-as long as its done by the hands of someone of a certain color of skin. The majority have a low social status and a life quality no better than cockroaches. Treat them like the plague they are while the both of you enjoy life!

  • @AbbytheEmigrant that made my day :)

  • @BDAShadow1 Racial pride is a part of racism.

  • Ain't nuthin better than a happy slave!

The sytem of White Supremacy (Racism) is GLOBAL.

That's like telling a cancer patient, hey GET OVER IT, ENJOY LIFE HAVE FUN! Just deal with it and live life to the fullest! Ohh you're bald who gives a fuck put on a wig, SMILE! Why waste your time and energy finding a cure for the disease? Why wouldn't you want to eliminate the cancer cells in your body and regenerate back to health?

  • @fernandoiscrazy First of all, cancer and racism is not comparable. One is a cell mutated disease in the body and the other is a mental ideology.

Slaves are obvious. They are crying, lashing out, with their fingers pointed, like so. Education and opportunity is available, why isn't it utilized? Many from the past have reformed and worked to CHANGE systems and ideologies, and became successful in that right. Even when they could barely read or write. I have no crutch for your failure.

  • @AbbytheEmigrant

Failure? What did I fail at? The System of White Supremacy (Racism) is not a "mental ideology" as you put it. It's a business. It affects the 9 major areas of people activity. Economics, Education, Entertainment, Labor, Law, Politics, Religion, Sex and War. That is either true or false. You can have material success in this world as a Non-White person there's no denying that. But we have to replace the system of White Supremacy with Justice.

  • @fernandoiscrazy I am not stating 'you' are a failure. You're just a person standing up for their convictions, yet anonymously... You state we must replace white supremacy with justice. I'm stating we must not turn a blind eye to ANY injustice, no matter whom the creator. Did you watch my video or just read the title? Clearly there is no argument. Racism shouldn't be such a buzz word that stops you from thinking logically and rationally. You think injustice is only caused by whites...WRONG!

  • @AbbytheEmigrant

What system was changed? your delusional.

  • @fernandoiscrazy Actually there is as much racism against whites as there is from whites. In WWII, Japan thought they were the superior race. Also, it's racist that people can get scholarships just for belonging to a minority. I think it's ironic that we say people should never get advantaqges just because of the color of their skin, and then we try to fix racism by giving people advantages for the color of their skin

  • @fernandoiscrazy LoL you're fucking retarde xD ---> black or white, what is the diference? :) We Balkanians we fuck you all muterfuckers!!!

  • To recognize that "systemic" racism has and continues to influence the outcomes of people's lives, does not mean those people affected by it are using it as a crutch. Nor are they necessarily lazy or lack motivation. They just recognize racism as a major obstacle that has to be addressed, in addition other challenges. The data on housing, wealth accumulation, high incarceration rates, hate crimes, school re-segregation and family formation tell us that systemic racism is alive and well.

  • @grantjoh2931 Perfect, and so it has been since America's first slaves entered the plantation. Please do not try to judge my level of involvement in those organizations. I don't speak from specualtion, I speak from, as aforementioned, involvement. There must be something about a person who garners financial backing in a recessed economical climate to develop based on their experiences, background, and talents, and without a "degree"...as for knowing little of what I've discussed––I'm astute.

  • I don't know enough about you to pass any judgement. Just trying to identifying the clossal problem before us, even in the age of Obama. Send me email at grant.joh@gmail.com. Have to go back to work. Best.

  • hey- that was a good point. well said

  • Abby (if I may), we can often be affiliated with organizations, and know very little about them until we collect objective information about them, which can be analyzed. I'm willing to concede things when there is little or no evidence to support the claims I make. You strike me as the kind of intelligent person that holds similar values. Truth is more important to me than winning. If so, let's talk it out over IM and post the exchange here.

  • @grantjoh2931 Honestly, and this is the last I am able to say. So much of this ties into my work, so I can only speak to an extent, which I have exceeded. If you send me your personal email (in subject line, personal email) I will remain in contact with you and we can correspond in different forums at a much later date. Too much of this is sensitive information, and is to be expanded on in the future. This has been one debate I have actually enjoyed. Let's stay in touch. Thanks!

  • Here is the def. of revolutionary from the OED(2000) I thought we might agree on:

    1. Relating to, characterized by, or of the nature of political revolution; involving or constituting radical change.

  • Who says people who are anti-racist are hateful and have a white enemy? I'm a black anti-racist college student and I don't hate white people (gasp). I just don't like ignorance in any shape or form no matter the color of the person. Racism.Sexism.Homophobia.Classism helps keep people dumb and keep them in fear. What's wrong with wanting to fight fear and ignorance and promoting understanding and acceptance in people's lives (especially in the lives of my loved ones)?

  • @violenthues Please don't misinterpret the message of the video and misconstrue its already repetitive morale...Don't turn a blind eye to human injustice, but equally don't use racism as a crutch for your failure and lack of success in life. Hear this: let nothing stop you attaining what you want in life. Thanks for watching and responding.

  • What your source?

  • @grantjoh2931 First hand Experience with these organizations...

  • Oh, I do agree that DuBois was a revolutionary, although he was slow coming to this position. But he was hardly unique. Black workers in the South arrived at this sobering political position much faster. They had not the luxury to think through differently positions as they were catching hell from pro-business White law enforcement officials. See Robin Kelly's Hammer and Hoe if you want to know more.

  • Respond to this video... Understand these people are symbols, or vanguard, for the period in which they lived. Its not to say there were not others. You see this on terms of black and white, this is where we differ and is evident. There is a bottom line: The further along the 21st century we progress, the greater the divide of wealth and poverty will be. These lines will be deep and there will be no helping hands given. One is free to submit to their ideologies, whether it cont'd

  • @grantjoh2931 bears fruit or not––but there will be no more excuses. The sympathy one once had for the lazy, unfocused, and hard-headed will be no more. It is great to have a mastery level of the past, if you are wise enough to use it to your advantage. If not, you are merely maintaining a slave mentality. The success of our doctrines and philosophies have tangible value and manifest in our quality of life. Where ever you are, I wish you success with what ever doctrine suits you. Good luck!

  • So we don't talk pass one another, perhaps we should try to come to an agreement about what we mean in the use of certain terms like revolutionary, reform, innovation, etc. There are allot of crappy dictionaries that do not really give the history of a word's usage, but the Oxford English Dictionary does pretty well. Do you want to start there. I'll refrain from commenting on anything else until we are able to come to this kind of agreement. Sound Fair? Otherwise, it becomes a shouting match.

  • @grantjoh2931 revolutionary rebellious, rebel, insurgent, rioting, mutinous, renegade, insurrectionary, insurrectionist, seditious, subversive, extremist. 2 thoroughgoing, thorough, comprehensive, far-reaching, extensive, profound. 3 new, novel, original, unusual, unconventional, unorthodox, newfangled, innovative, modern, state-of-the-art, cutting-edge, futuristic, pioneering. rebel, insurgent, insurrectionist, agitator, subversive.

For their time, they were revolutionaries.

  • Furthermore, Douglas, Washington were not revolutionaries. And DuBois did not develop a revolutionary outlook until the age of 93. By that time he had become a Bolshevik communist. Douglas and Washington very much believed in finding ways to integrate socially and/or economically into the existing White dominated order. Hence, they were reformist. I believe the source of our disagreement lay in how we may understand what racism is. How do you define racism? I'll then share mine. Sound Fair?

  • @grantjoh2931 If we look at the definition of "revolutionary", they were. A man of color becoming a communist at that time doesn't strike you as being innovative for that period? Until a nation is economically strong and can survive independently, it has to seek assistance or integrate. Reformers are innovators because they seek CHANGES. If one is as astute about their finances, education, world geography/politics, status, quality of life etc. they'd utilize talents instead of blaming others.

  • really quick? 10 minutes?

  • I pointed out Alexander and Blackmon's work because they illustrate how racism, sponsored by governments (not inviduals), become ever more oppressive inspite of the illusion that barriers are being broken. Indeed, Alexander notes how more Blacks have been disfranchised from the ranks of voters since the 1980s, under the guise of a race specific drug war, than during the previous segregation era (1880-1965). For similar reasons, European Jews founded Israel as a race based nation.

  • @grantjoh2931 Now we're in the 21st century. This information has brought on awareness, but no great changes. Without progression, it is the recycling of trash. One says education is the cure, but people of color are more educated now than before, so what is the problem? It's the entire structure––from top to bottom; It is religion, social education, environment, & culture. These need to be re-established in order for people of a new millennium to survive, and, move forward successfully.

  • I am glad you have created a space to enjoy your life. And I'm glad you are able to admit that racism exists in many forms and fashions. However, your suggestion that people just "Get Over It" is a rather dangerous position to take. American History, expressed in text such as Michelle Alexander's The New Jim Crow (2010) and Douglas Blackmon's Slavery by another Name (2009), tell us that we must be very aware of how systemic racism has and continues to influence people's lives.

  • @grantjoh2931 Histories of a multitude of races acknowledge the influences of racism. In the 21st century, this is no longer an acceptable excuse when barriers are continuing to be broken. Racism existed before WE were born and will exist after. We must take RESPONSIBILITY for the state and condition of our lives. Racism isn't the answer to the question why many individuals choose not to maximize their own talents and potentials. These are their barriers and self-imposed limitations.

  • @grantjoh2931 America's view or advised way of dealing with "systematic" racism needs an enema & an update. How can one be successful in the 21st century using belief systems, doctrines, generational & political teachings based in the 18th century? It doesn't work! Why is Booker T. Washington, Frederick Douglas, & W.E.B DuBois more prosperous than the average black with a formal education, employment, FREEDOM, and information at their disposal in the 21st century? They were revolutionary!

  • Lastly, Douglas, Washington, and DuBois were the products of White benefactors. Douglas less so than Washington and DuBois. This is why Garvey (albeit a social conservative) was such a threat and was attacked by the U.S. racialist Government. His movement (consisiting of 1M + people) was largely financed and managed by people of African descent. The same was true of the previous mass movement led by Black washerwoman, Callie House. Indeed, both movements were leveled the U.S. Government.

  • @grantjoh2931 Every non-European born and living in America during slavery is the product of white benefactors. There was no currency until they created the dollar. These movements were unsuccessful‚ including the Nation of Islam, Nations of Gods and Earths, Black Sufis, and any other modern separatist movement.

Why? Because they ignored every necessity for life. Not to mention, the very nature of human beings. No god, movement, gathering, book, or philosophy, created deficient will cont'd

  • @grantjoh2931 No god, movement, gathering, book, or philosophy, created will have success governing a people, let alone a complex nation such as, deficient of attention to these aforementioned levels of consciousness and humanity.

  • Actually, you do not have to go beyond the establishment of a state of Israel (1948), based on Zionist philosophy, to find a successful "modern" separatist movement. This one has however been propped by U.S. financial and military aid ( $1trillion and counting). And on what specific grounds are you labeling these separatists groups such as the Nation of Islam "unsuccessful." Is their membership in decline? It would be worth the time to talk to you at length about these issues on IM.

  • @grantjoh2931 We're going all over the place. I'm referring to African-Americans in America and the long term impact these movements have had. These successful leaders have come and gone and have not created a doctrine which has done exactly what they have set out to do (the Nation of Islam, Nations of Gods and Earths, Black Sufis, and any other modern separatist movement.) These organizations have a revolving door, with members who reduce this ideology to part time-practice.

  • I must agree with you keep up your head I got you back

  • oooooo your very pretty : - )

  • Great VIDEO (((((clapping))))!

  • You have such a level-headed way of thinking. I love it!

  • @StylinOut How else can you perceive it and still bring your 'A' game in life? BTW...how was Vegas?

  • @AbbytheEmigrant Definitely, if we act as if everything is a ball and chain to our ankle, that's exactly what it will be. Too often, people live inside their heads instead of reality. *sigh* And Vegas was awesome, thank you for asking. Expensive but it was definitely worth it. The weather was sorta cruddy, but it didn't stop us from making the best of every moment.

  • honestly, the only time i really felt racism was moving back to the states.

  • @piddlepromo And your experience is a very valid one. It's different situation for everyone.
