  • People show up to interviews drunk? Not good. : ) In our social media world, I'm guessing that being introduced by a connection on LinkedIn is one of the best ways to get your foot in the door with a company. Thanks Jessica.

  • You are absolutely right ...no one hires someone cold unless it's for the mail room, and even that position usually goes to someone's kid

  • So many times people are well meaning but go about things in a way that will totally never get them to where they want to be..

    I always believe in coming with an "open hand". Instead of attempting to have someone give you a job, do something that might benefit that person first...find out their likes, interests and desires...then send them something...make it memorable and put a note in there that you are interested in the position you are seeking...

  • Tell me more! The key is to know the right people then...I think it's difficult for either side...but thankfully you are sharing your expertise!
