  • Depending on the year and if it had diff lock re installed, If u leave it in diff lock that's the light on far left ! These lights will come on then if u take it out of difflock then turn engine off then back on their gone its to do with the slaabs Ecu !! Upto 2003 models it effect ??

  • Yesssss it is a British car!!!

  • I regret buying this vehicle so much I have a toyota pick up with 500000 miles on it still runs great, I bought a 2003 with 54k miles and after 10k all kids of lights are on, and now I feel a delay shifting and the "service engine soon came on".

    damn it

    any tips are greatly appreciated.

  • hmm wut the difference between this truck and gucci mane... LEMON

  • three amigos are very common. mine came on for abs pump failure. not expenesive to fix if you shop around. good luck!!

  • All Those Warning Lights = More to have problems with. I'll keep with my geo, thanks.

  • @KkF00 geo`s rock!!! :D

  • Disco td5 = Amazing.

  • That is what is called the "Three Amigo's" and is usually caused by either a faulty abs modual or a faulty speed sensor in your wheel hub!

good luck with your problem, as it is very costly to fix $1000 US dollars, if it is the abs modual

the wheel sensor modual is about $500 US dollars installed!

  • mine did that too after i hooked up a trailer, tripped all those lights, turned out to just be a fuse blown, nothing mechanical, as for the ABS TCS light that is a sensor failure that is by the wheel well, you just have to replace it

  • Modulemaster will fix that ABS and TCS light. Bad shuttle switch and solenoid pack..

  • on mine the abs ace and self leveing lights have all come on any ideas?

  • Could mean a number of things. On mine, first time it was a faulty sensor. Second time, faulty shuttle valve in the ABS modulator. You can drive with the lights on, but your Discoveyr will behave like a car without ABS. Plus, in NZ and I'm pretty sure the UK too, if the light is on you'll faily your WOF / MOT.

  • Do you still need help on them lights I have a 1999 land rover disco 2 with some of them on. Let me know i can help

  • That's british engineering for you......absolute rubbish

  • like yours is any better...

  • @hal360champ Really hit and miss...

  • just a wet sensor i got those lights and just waited till it dried

  • Got the same in mine... What was the problem??

  • a faulty abs sensor causes those faults, whats the big deal. Couple of hours work to fix.

  • That, and about $800 bucks.

  • Hill Decent wont help you now! Those tree the one with a rover!, TC, and ABS, there is about fifty sencors all over the disco 2, mass air flow, traction control in all four wheels, one on the trany and when one goes out all three of the lights come on. My wife calls it a chrismas tree. We got her a honda fit to save on gas, But no way did we get rid of the disco, I love that car and when no lights are on it is way fun to drive.

  • There is no such thing as traction control on any discovery, you must be confused with anti lock brakes.

  • wertyh11, the Discovery's traction control is what makes it such a good off road machine. The light at 0:03 with the dashed circle around it that says TC is the traction control light. If one wheel slips, the TC applies brake pressure to the slipping wheel. That sends the torque to the wheel with traction.

  • @wertyh11 Yes, they have traction control. I put it to use all the time in my 2003 4.6, especially off-road and in the snow. That is what makes it work so well with out diff-locks. I think your the one confused.

  • @topherhales I use traction controle along with my center diff lock... but i have a 99 disco 2.... Yours would be harder to do that with... Even tho you have a center diff lock that has no cable to it

  • @wertyh11 from 1999.5 on they have traction contol.

  • mmmm v8

  • Houston... Eagle has landed. Repeat, the Eagle has landed.

  • Starting a D2 with diff lock engaged disables the ABS,TC and HDC. If you keep doing this it will set a fault code and will need to go on testbook to reset it.

  • ive noticed w/ landrovers that you either hit a lemon or a vehicle that will never breakdown on you.

  • u shouldnt have gotten rid of it just because of the transfer case. i have a 2003 land rover discovery II and i got mine fixed under warranty. it would have only costed $550 though

  • why is your CDL light on?? is this a D2 or D2 update?

  • transfer case was going south, go figure. That thing is gone now. Kinda miss it =(

  • @d2sti Hi a have a land rover and the red light with de the figure of the four whels and an x in the midle think is DCL but youst turn on and off with no reoson and dont know what it means. saludos.

  • wtf??

  • HAha you got the three amigos, I got a disco 1 so I guess im lucky
