The only thing I can't find in the 9/11 attacks are the motive. Why would Al Queda(is that how you spell it?) attack the US? There are still some suspicious things surrounding 9/11. There are classified videos of the Pentagon attack that should show it clearly and they keep it hidden. The wreckage there and in Pennsylvania don't look like a crash with a plane of that type. But the conspiracy theories are just too out there. Just release those videos, and show a picture from Penn with a piece of plane in it.

With the current science, switching from fossil fuels will not save the planet now. Reducing what you make will not save help or change a damn thing. Only the advancement of eco-technology and some grand plan to proactively change what we have already done will have any hope for helping the future. So don't recycle or by a new electric car, donate as much as you can to the research for the solution. Because working together and planting a few trees will not solve this.

I agree with you to some extent about fine art and a lot of artists, but not so much on "art is dead". Art can be a very personal thing that has nothing to do with financial gain or classic method. It can also be art in an unconventional sense. For example, I believe that movies, music, even comic books and video games (sometimes) can be considered as art. It's all subjective really. There are still some suspicious things surrounding 9/11. There are classified videos of the Pentagon attack that should show it clearly and they keep it hidden. The wreckage there and in Pennsylvania don't look like a crash with a plane of that type. But the conspiracy theories are just too out there. I just watched a video in which Penn called 9/11 truthers a bunch of a-holes. It's nice to see him change and admit that he may not know now. It's ok we forgive you. I mean it's not like we are all self-serving individuals who want to blame our sorrows on everyone else. We just want a real investigation into 9/11 thats all. The 9/11 commision report does not qualify as an official investigation in our minds.

Instead of doing this Penn took the easy way out and simply resorted to ridiculing the most extreme and least credible fringe element of the 911 truth movement. My point is that most movements, whether credible or not, contain a fringe element that reflects poorly on that movement's image. Simply showing a few "kooks" from the fringe is hardly a fair way to dismiss an entire movement and certainly does not constitute proof of anything. I'm for more facts and less "Bullshit".

First, all the comments about global warming: There's nothing we can do about it. During california's forest fires, a week of fires released an amount of carbon dioxide equivalent to...maybe a million cars running for a year (assuming your average car goes 15,000 miles a year.)
Second, 9/11 "truthers" are the craziest assholes I've seen. Really. They also tend to be rather religious, I guess you have to have a tendency to believe hard-to-believe things to buy in to the whole conspiracy thing.

With the current science, switching from fossil fuels will not save the planet now. Reducing what you make will not save help or change a damn thing. Only the advancement of eco-technology and some grand plan to proactively change what we have already done will have any hope for helping the future. So don't recycle or by a new electric car, donate as much as you can to the research for the solution. Because working together and planting a few trees will not solve this.

The "Truth Movement" or 9/11 Conspiracy folk are relatively new so their investment in the idea is maximal. Any new faith is at it's most militant when it is new. It is more militant NOW because they are organized. The more militant, the less space there is for actually debate and rational discussion.
The sad thing is, there ARE questions that rational people have about what happened. There are holes. But now even asking the questions put you on the lunatic fringe.

there are somethings we should be skeptical about. But I realy believe that the conspiracy theorists are there own worst enemy by overzealousy producing easily falsified information because they care more about being right than the truth. if creationists, truthers, and all other conspiracy nuts just fucked off, then there would be alot more reasonable decent, and there might be some more credible oposition to the big ideas, instead of politically driven assholes forcing us to pick sides.

Now I & my friends in Israel are technically Zionists since we support the existence of Israel. However, we all protest the treatment of Palestinians by the racist, genocidal elements in the Israeli government, just as we protest the support of those Israeli policies by the Bush regime, & what looks like the continuation of that support to come by Obama.

Ok so Redstone making money off Bullshit is a bad argument, because you assume that he must get his propaganda out and make money from it aswell, and perhaps it's true, I mean it's true for Fox and Murdoch but as a standalone argument it's pretty weak, lot's of people agree with Penn on 911 and most of them don't own anything, but guess what they likely work for someone who supports Israel at some point up the chain. Islamic terrorists are certainly a serious threat, but I can think of plenty worse threats. Remember, the Romans were powerful enough to stand up to the Huns, the Carthiginians, the Goths, et al. But it was their own failing economy and corrupt political system that led to their demise.

Do you honestly believe Bush/Cheney would kill 3000 people and destroy 2 buildings just to make some money? Do you think they are that evil? I forget when I had my realization. I was suspicious as I watched the towers fall that morning weeks later I had found out that there have only been 3 steel structures to collapse due to fire and all three happened on the same day: September 11, 2001. Then I knew for sure.

I think all 911 conspiracy theorist arguments are bull. But one I find particularly stupid is the notion that the government secretly put explosives in the buildings. Well if thats the case, and they intended to bomb the buildings in the first place, why not just go with that? Why would the government not just say "Al Qaeda put bombs in the twin towers"? Why then go to the length of flying the planes into the towers? It's silly. This government was too incompetent to do anything, much less 911.

Right On, I know what you are saying. If you painted something and it is popular somehow you are a sell out. Yet if you use your family's political connections to have your art purchased for loads of tax money to hang in some government building then it is fine art. Realistically, art has been elitist throughout most of human history because only the wealthy could afford it. Exceptions might be cave paintings and William Hogarth.

I agree with you to some extent about fine art and a lot of artists, but not so much on "art is dead". Art can be a very personal thing that has nothing to do with financial gain or classic method. It can also be art in an unconventional sense. For example, I believe that movies, music, even comic books and video games (sometimes) can be considered as art. It's all subjective really. But Anyway my point is that I politely disagree by saying that I do not believe that art is dead. peace out.
