*ROFL*

  • Discovery returns to tell us: "It's allright. The (p)ISS is still up there!"

  • Oh god... This is how the alien invasion starts... We pissed on their ships...

  • Over the billions of years of Earth's history, I'd be willing to bet ALL Earth's water has been through an animal at least once. Worrying about a little astropee seems pretty silly.

  • WHY?

    Excess Weight ?

    This also happens during ROUND-TRIPS, 10days OK(logical), 3 days(not-logical)

How much accumulation in 3 days??

the folks at spaceweather called it,

Crystals of flash-frozen urine and other substances

    ??other substances???

  • I cannot believe all the ignorance, and extremely low intelligence, in these comments. Every day I spend on Youtube, is another tear I shed for the future of humanity.

  • Bite it !!!

  • OK, google: "NASA - 03-04--2011 " And if you look at all the sites talking about this waste dumping from the shuttle; you will not find it on a NASA website, if you do let me know. When NASA says waste dumping the are usually talking about dumping to the ISS, because it increases their water supply. Same, about a Russian missile launch. Asteroid not missile, been doing missile launches for years never looked like that. book; Epoch Revelations, NASA astronomers found 4 impact sites.

  • I have recieved a lot of heat from all of you, You show me one video of water waste dumping before 2009 and I will give in that you are right and I am wrong. One video of a spiral or a shuttle waste dump before, 2009

  • If the stream falls to a lower orbit it will continue to fall. Which means we are gonna have Discovery's piss raining down on us.

  • This video explains the new UFO videos that have been uploaded by others.

  • neat

  • Beautiful image but I can't help but think it's the shuttle taking a BIO.

  • ufo

  • WTH is the matter with you ppl? Why don't you JA's study before you open your mouths and prove you are idiots?

  • The other bright object at the end of the clip is the ISS.

  • kopfeist.. first that is the BEST shot of a NEO ever.. pee or no pee.. its a NEO.. lol

now from the NASA dot gove website the quote of the century:

"“The new toilet features better hygiene, larger storage capacity, greater dependability, and an overall cost savings in maintenance.

-The previous model had a 14-day capacity for storage of waste material. The new model has an unlimited storage capacity."

  • good i now know who to sue. i thought it was a meteor....... i ate french fries off it

  • Please note the faint stars of constellation Lepus in the background (just below U-rion *g*).

  • It was a telephoto lens with 85 mm focal length (85 1.2 Canon)

  • Hi there and thanks for discussing the video and more... :)

  • whatever, if i pissed 20 galons of water straight up could you see even from 5 mile away is imposible! if you had super vision mabey.

  • More like piss and liquid shit dump. Awesome post none the less ;)

  • @freethisone

Mr. FED (Heli)Ben Bernanke on board: it's a dump of greenbacks; what you see in the vid is quantitative easing 2.0: directly from space...

    Got Gold/Silver?

  • What's in d Water being Dumped? Waste matter etc. What's in d Waste Water or matter Chemically etc? Is d Altitude high enough 2 cause No Damage to d air when it falls as rain OR Other? By d time d Waste reaches d ground in tiny particles, it will have spread over d area of a continent or more, I THINK. Will it cause birds falling from d sky? Does d Waste Decay d same was as down here on d ground? If it decays, No Problem, might even be good. Someone suggest it Freezes, 4 eternity?

  • they recycle they urine up there this is bull shit bye nasa !!

  • ITS NIBIRU!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!

  • nice job

  • Ditto what tsman2709 said.

  • Don`t waste time writing an answer... just click on the "thumb down" on the commentary.

BTW Excellent video, great job @kopfeist !!!!

  • Oh, in 2009 they started dumping waste water in all these 2009 videos, The Same Time they past the law that Asteroid's are Classified. Where are all the videos of this going on the past 40 years. Just Google, "Incoming Asteroids look like" all of these Spiral UFO videos, look just like incoming Asteroids too. Dare you to Research.

  • @neverdullboy. LMAO!

  • And you want to know why people don't come out and try to let people know what is really going on, because of this reaction. Read My goodfriends site on Comet Swarms, Dr. Barry Warmkessel. He works with NASA atronomers now. Just Google: Barry Warmkessel. I am a 64 year old grandmother, not some radio talk show conspiracy, The government has no problem keeping secrets from ignorant people that don't know what incoming asteroids look like, so they are UFO, Missiles dropping Alien Crap.

  • Constellation U-RINE

  • I love that conspiracy theorists get to become self-proclaimed experts on space science thanks to YouTube.

It's not the 'comet swarms' that will undo our society. It's these morons.

  • @Coolottie You're a pseudo scientist correct? By the way, your grammar is impeccable. I applaud you on your rigor in achieving a truly new level of ignorance. Do you have a blog/website? I absolutely need to read everything you have to say.

  • I did work at NASA, this is an old articile, but I have never heard of this changing. Plus if that is the Shuttle why is it lite up like a light bulb. Asteroids in March 2009 became Classified. Google: "Recycling Water on the Space Shuttle" even the rats on there for tests, their pee is even recycled. Also there are images just like this one that says it is a asteroid. I wrote a book about asteroids and this is a huge coverup.

  • @TheCoolottie

Your argument is so ridiculously flawed I'm not even sure where to begin.

-If this was an asteroid, why is it in the same orbit and time frame as the shuttle? Hmmmmm.

-We're in a "comet swarm"? Really. What parent body is the material coming from?

-Why is it "glowing like a light bulb"? Are you serious? Reflected sunlight. The shuttle can easily surpass +1 magnitude. Quite brightly visible to the unaided eye. Surely someone who "worked for NASA" would have known that.

  • @TheCoolottie PLEASE post the name of that book you wrote. I bet it's hilarious & I need a laugh. Not classified is it, thus unavailable for people to read? What position were you with NASA, when, & who was your supervisor? Not classified too is it?

People, the one the above ^^^^^^^ is addressed to is a prime example of why our collective IQ has been plummeting over the last 2 or 3 decades. Average USE to be 100. Adding all of these characters in now would probably push it back to about 60.

  • I saw it from Vorarlberg and was amazed by the comet-shaped cloud, thanks for capturing this on video!

  • Excellent!

  • As Wally Schirra said, "the constellation Urion."

  • Their lies are really getting creative. There are so many asteroids coming toward earth in this Comet Swarm, to avoid panic, the government will blame it on missiles, but this is the best lie yet. All water on Shuttle and urine, is recycled. google "recycling water on the space shuttle." most of the ufo, and missile, "Spirals" are asteroids. If they had been doing this for the past 50 years someone would have noticed it long ago. Asteroids People, we are in a Comet Swarm.

  • @TheCoolottie New regulations say no shuttle water dumps can take place while docked to the ISS, so as not to contaminate the outdoor experiments on the Kibo lab. September 9, 2009 photos of a toliet dump are on the google.

Here is a close up video of a shuttle flush. redorbit.com/news/video/space/6/discovery_water_dump/23975/

Please act like you have a brain and use it sometimes.

  • @TheCoolottie I'm guessing your response is part of the viral marketing campaign for the movie Battle: LA. Well played, my pseudo-paranoid friend. Well played.

  • Looks like an IcyBM........

  • YEA OK NASA HAS TOUSANDS OF GALLONS OF WATER ON BOARD, bs.

  • @freethisone This was approximately 150 lbs of waste water. It's composed of urine, and water from the fuel cells. The moment it is ejected it becomes particulate in zero g and freezes immediately.

  • @IForkfly lol 150 pounds of water is like 20 gallons of water. so no i think its BS!

  • @IForkfly its more like 150 gallons not pounds

  • @skateboy159 Sorry. My bad. I got my information from the NASA website, but what do they know?

  • Comment removed

  • @IForkfly i seen a video its like a spray so u right

  • @IForkfly 20 gallons of water would not do that, and it would dump in a few seconds, the drift away, not stream out the back for hundreds of miles! BS BS BS!!!

  • @freethisone The shuttle is traveling at over 17,000 MPH. Hundreds of miles happens in seconds. Also, do a bit of reading as to what happens to water (even small amounts) in a vacuum. I know you think we're being invaded by Antarians piggybacking on meteors or some craziness, so logic is probably not going to be especially effective here. Please feel free to believe what you like.

  • @IForkfly so your saying an ice cube, 20 gallons of water would spew out of a space ship for thousands of miles lol.. i think in the 1 second it takes to expel 20 gallons of water, you would never even see it. not to mention, a docked craft would not need a potty, .. no need for anyone to be1 in it, because they are in the space station.

  • @freethisone 280 miles in 1 minute the ship would have traveled. if its 17k miles per hour

  • @freethisone Waste water on the shuttle is expelled through a small vent. 20 gallons is a lot of water. A typical shower does 2.5GPM. This is a 39 sec vid. At 20GPM you're covered here. Finally, the shuttle is traveling at just under 5 miles...per second. During the time it took for you to watch the video, the shuttle did just under 200 miles.

  • Very very cool!

  • Can I ask the focal length of this shot? How many mm is your telescope/lens?

  • When they spray the liquid out under pressure that initial impulse gives each drop a different orbit. I think that the result would be a curve but my brain hurts. Anybody got an orbital motion simulator?

  • @qtrfull The liquid is being expelled in the direction opposite their motion, which means the fluid has less speed than the shuttle relative to earth. So the stream should start to fall to a lower orbit.

  • Beautiful video! I saw it yesterday over Zürich: the dump was evident even with unaided eye!

  • Yes, i saw the same yesterday over Bavaria.

  • imagine an unrine rain... really disgusting...! Anyway, the whole situation was very spectacular and exciting!!! I wish I had seen it, but these clouds are f@#$^&*! Anyway (again), these f@#$%^&*! clouds have "pour out" snow and today we haven't school. It's not that I like it but...

  • STS 133 AT FINAL, 0:37 sec.

  • I wonder why the trail curls away from the line of flight?

  • So is a water dump like them flushing the toilet?

  • pretty cool!! (Also here from spaceweather)

  • Great capture! I've never seen anything like this.

    (I came here from Spaceweather)
