Hope this is done soon...this is awesome. Hopefully you'll stick with the sounds and effects youve got here. The ones in Dark Descent were scary, but nothing we havent heard before. The sounds you have are very horrifying and disturbing/distorted. Also, the effect of something huge chasing you from down the top of a dark spiral staircase - Love it! I wasnt really a fan of the castle setting. If it was in a massive mansion (think Stephen King's Rose Red), I think it'd be much scarier.

The problem for me with custom stories is most of the creators don't know how to scale the fear and path it out.

I find most just go overkill and make every second a nightmare but they don't understand that what that does is make people ultra scared for 2 mins but then your body reactions kick in and you start to get numb and dont' feel fear.

When making something scary you have to learn to lull the player into a false sense of security and then scare them again. It is much more effective

Try to change the resolution on Amnesia to fit your screen.

Open launcher -> Graphic options -> Resolution. Think that's the problem

This looks really legit. Only thing I would say is that it's almost a little too much. If the starting area is too scary/gory, it will be hard to escalate for later in the game. What I mean is that the starting area will desensitize them to the atmosphere very quickly and later areas will seem less scary.
