LRT is a crazy idea!!!.. scooters will not give away the roads...these carzy bikes and rail carts will collide on the streets all the time.. Most importantly, in Kaohsiung, it's predictable that not many commuters will use LRT...KRT+LRT= Super Black Hole of operation deficit...only continue adding more numbers on existing 200 billions debt... Who will pay for it??... Heheh.. No one wants..and the whole city finally will collape...dead!!!

高雄真的路寬車少, 更明確一點講, 在台北同樣距離, 騎車可能要花在高雄的兩倍時間才能到, 高雄汽機車又是出了名的愛亂停, 換句話說停車超"方便"又很少被拖, 我想這才是高捷運量爬不起來的原因, 離題了

路是很寬但車子不少....

高捷也才蓋好沒多久...總要點時間.

不是一直蓋大樓就可以..現在都規劃 房子附近一定要有綠地..或森林公園...這樣人才不會瘋掉= =..

謝謝指教, 但我指的亂停, 是指占用到機車道的路邊停車, 如果你是高雄人又是機車族, 想必也有被迫與汽車爭道的遭遇吧, 另外高雄機車多是真的, 至於汽車數輛則只有台北的2/3, 當然這跟人口數有關, 這也是為什麼我說路寬車少, 其他你的評論我同意

機車是真的很多啦 不過現在大多重要地段都很少會亂停了 因為現在很會拖 說真的 我覺得在高雄市區內開車很不智 因為會很擠=  =

The traffic in Kaohsiung is ridiculous and extremely dangerous with all the scooters and poor driving skills by both cars and motorcycles. Not to mention the disgusting pollution in the air. Getting the scooters off the road will make driving safer, allow for pedestrians, and clean up the air. I think the LRT would be an excellent help to this city.

Are u still in Kaohsiung now? It's very different from what it was 2 years ago, and the city has made significant improvements in air quality and infrastructure. Come sometime and see for yourself!^^

I think it looks absolutly awesome. Definitely high tech and lot better then the one in L.A. I don't understand why retards would think its not safe, I mean living life is not safe but thats a risk im willing to take to live life.

Don't look safe to me on the ground like that. If those trains are the slow moving kind for sightseeing, then it would make sense. However, I don't like sightseeing trains designed to look like those!!

For example LRT works pretty well in Budapest (Hungary), so maybe it can help in Kaohsiung too.

BTW, traffic is rather bad in Taiwan. I mean the way people drive there kind of make me want to put them either higher up (to see the city better perhaps) or underground (I don't like underground probably because I like sunlight and fresh air)!!
