This is one of the greatest songs ever recorded, by Lou Reed. I have to admit, Susan does it justice, although it's weird to see her and children singing a song about a man's relationship with heroin!

In response to the comment of tooleey, you are sadly right. Where are the new songs, creative writers and musicians. Im afraid the whole music scene has changed forever. We will never again see the likes of The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel and the Eagles. Thats why all of these talent show artists sing the great songs of the past, nad only hit songs.

Yes, she is great, but these talent shows have discovered a ton of talent in recent years. We can only wish that someday they will create a competition to discover great songwriters. This is what the industry is really starving for!! New and great singers are discovered regularly, but very seldom is a quality song written anymore like they were written 40 or 50 years ago.....

And there are great songwriters out there, they just don't fit the incredibly shallow parameters set out by the industry nowadays, where not only is the artist required to look like a pinup, but also must self manage, pay for all costs and promotion, and all of that only to be one of thousands in a very competitive lottery vying for a blip on the screen. Most songwriters either simply cannot afford to play the game, or don't look pretty enough on the casting couch.
