Their are NO security issues with streaming over 3G. (just speed problems). Over 4G? No problems!

Damn wish I watched this before buying it.

It's so damn slow : / it is having to stream 1280x600 or so of image data but my computer/network and tablet are plenty enough to handle that.

Computer is 3.64ghz hexacore cpu/8gb of ram and HD6870

Network is wireless N

Tablet is powered by tegra 2 ( overclocked to 1.4)

So it should be able play the stream smooth as silk! ( the device can output 1080p at 30fps)

The Asus EeePad Transformer tablet is one that's been of considerable interest to me lately, and one thing I've been thinking about needing a tablet for is as a little second monitor for my 13-inch MacBook Pro that's just as wireless as the laptop. Most of what I do with my computer is writing and IM, so I wouldn't need especially high refresh rates. Does that sort of thing seem ideal for it? What is more useful outside of iDisplay; the iPad or Honeycomb?
