  • I think the wolfs supposed too punch with there fists or scratch with there big nails unlike the rabbits thet kick with there strong legs

  • @SchnaiderT They do. Wolves already have a completely different fighting style.

    They throw big claw slaps mostly, but can also kick.

  • sound dampening and echoes would be nice, so that if your inside a structure or in snowy terrain sound would be less/more effective

  • @DvDPlaya Check the Secret Preorder Forum on the Wolfire's forums. They should have the most recent alphas available for download if you have an account. If you don't have an account, contact them either by making an account or on IRC.

  • @kink97 I remember a video of them showing off the way blood hits terrain. Just looks like they didnt add it to the NPCs and player.

  • Can I make one suggestion?

    When the rabbits sprint, it look's like they are just walking really really fast. now I understand this was probably intentional, but a suggestion I would make is to maybe make them lean forward more, or make it look like they are really putting effort into running. They just seem like they are hardly trying when they run so bloody fast.

    Any way, Brilliant work, game looks AMAZING, keep it up!

  • @MyJizzHasFizz pretty sure it is intentional, adds a somwhat mysterious image of the rabbit, who runs fast and is an expert in martial arts.

  • @furryegglet Push forward I believe. When I said "sprint" I meant when they reach top speed, there isn't a button designated to sprinting I don't think.

  • @evilpenquin For a while, there WAS a multiplayer component, and I think it could even still be there. Either way, I know multiplayer is indeed planned.

  • Great stuff, it would be cool if enemies communicated with each other. For example, if a rabit saw a palyer comming, he could yell out loud and based on sound any all other enemies within a radious could be on alert. This would definitly rais AI of the enemy and make player to think about startegies of how to attack and quickly take an opponent out :-)

  • Is this game going to be just like Lugaru? Will there be any character development or exploration, or just level after level of (albiet amazing) static levels and enemies to walk up and kill?

    Also as mentioned, co-op multiplayer? IMO this game is too fast paced to enjoy in PvP over a long duration. Some people would prefer that, but not me.

    The game looks amazing, but I just feel more and more like I won't enjoy the end product as much as I did following it's development.

  • @eneekmot I contacted them before about this.  They said they'd like to include online multiplayer, but they have to figure out how they would deal with lags first. In other words, no promises made. : (

  • Dear wolfire. By any chance may you add a "Breaking Bones" animation such as the rabbit kicks then the wolf catches the leg a elbow drops the knee cap and breaks it. That would be great. so if thats possible plz do it and if the leg breaks make the knee cap face inward. Thank you for your time.

  • It keeps looking better and better. But i think the kicks and punhes arent looking like they are solid. Let them lean just a litlle forward when they kick and it wil be (proberly) more realistic =]

  • I enjoy these weekly updates so much I'm starting to feel obligated to buy the game now. Since it is finally looking more like a game than an editor maybe I will.

  • What annoys me in most open world video games, is that if you kick someone over and they fall on their face, they then render themselves a preset recovering animation, so they would warp onto their backs and push themselves up instead of getting up realisticly. You fixed the limp ragdolls by making them active when they fell, so I think you should also fix the recovering animations as well.

  • This game looks amazing, and I really am stunned at both the quality of the game and the passion of the developers.

    But being nurse-fed on the current trend of the $5 indie game, I'm still feeling the urge to hold out on preordering. A small drop in price or even a sale would hopefully be all I need to push my stinginess over the edge and finally pick up this fine piece of work.

  • @xsporian wile slightly larger towns might be acceptable, i believe the lore of the game calls for small towns.

  • w00t 136th view! Cool alpha, even if it wasn't as epic as the some of the others, this is a huge milestone. Overgrowth has gone from kick ass editor to kick ass game and editor. AMAZING! So excited, I'm gonna preorder soon, I hope.
