  • the singer looks ill

  • @mguygh he has a disease

  • @EnokiSkai what is it?

  • @mguygh marfan syndrome, that's why he's so skinny, he also has like a crater thing in his chest, you can see it on the album cover of Logos by Atlas sound, which is Bradford's solo stuff

  • B cox's voice on this performance is ace. Really killed it on this one.

  • He's dressed like Kramer

  • best band ever

  • HAHAHA i had an acid flashback!!! fucking hilarious. luv paul.

  • i'm sorry, but i just didn't get anything about that at all..

  • @mattcav221 and that's ok. Perhaps Nickelback is more up your alley

  • Which was the best moment in the vid?:

    A) The excellent music;

    B) Letterman being forced to grind out insincere compliments in his 150th year of hosting The Same Old Show;

    C) Cue Ball's (band leader) lame-ass attempt (32,399th, 1970-2010) at being witty.

  • Dr. Octopus playing keyboard!

  • it seems that the weather right of cox is unseasonably cold in the letterman studio.

  • HOLY FUCK IT'S COLE ALEXANDER!!!!!!

  • Tight as fuck live!

  • This was my birthday. Fuck yeah.

  • holy fuck...amazing.

  • Is it just me or at 0:46 does his voice sound a lot like Julian Casablancas?

  • @elementz1986 It's just you... sorry

  • @elementz1986 its not just you

  • @elementz1986 I definitely heard it; he does sound like Julian a little

  • Eh...

  • Let me just say that I think the reasons that so many bands are compared to Velvet Underground are that 1) The VU was, is, and always will be a seminal force in rock and roll history. It's just an inescapable fact. 2) Therefore, many bands study, idolize, and yes, even imitate and draw upon the VU with clear intent, and there is no shame in that.

  • @SirRedSun88 The Velvet Undergroud? It sounds more like a 60s pop hit to me. People compare every fucking band to the Velvet Undergroud like its their only musical reference point.

  • @magicmike323 so true about everyone comparing any not well-known band to the VU

  • @magicmike323

Rofl i agree, these guys have more My bloody Valentine influence then The Velvet underground. People nowadays think dropping The Velvet underground will get them brownie points haha!

  • @TeewhYThreeD spot on.

  • @SirRedSun88 No.

  • why does letterermen always have the best bands?

  • rock n roll

  • Haha Cole wants to jump around (and spit on the guitar)

  • mm this is amazing

  • Dave: What'd you think Paul?

Paul: I had an acid flashback...

  • Bradford looks so shy at the end <3

  • is that a little point and wink at 1:30? cause it is badass. then he croons it like sinatra - properly awesome.

  • love their second-hand-seventies-glam-bowling-alley-version of this song, sounds great

  • Moses cut his hair!

  • @EuphoricNoise IK! i was shocked when i saw it! and Lockett grew a mustache and shaved it!

  • they really killed it

  • One of the best albums in 2010.

  • who are the two other guys? new members?

  • @helmetboy123456 nah, they just 'extended' the line-up for this performance. It's Cole Alexander from the Black Lips on guitar and the keyboardist is Adam Bruneau from the Back Pockets.

  • @mediacrap hell yeah

  • @helmetboy123456 one of them is cole alexander from Black Lips (singer and guitar)

  • oh and 1:30 and 3:14 for some badass Cox moments

  • Aww go boys! I'm so proud :)

  • @yeti30312 says the guy who's got Rammstein videos favorited. Great performance. Seemed like Cox was really focused on the vocals - a lot of singers tend to get sloppy live. And loved that extended bridge part which is kind of a Deerhunter live trademark, spacing out with the guitars. Paul seemed to enjoy it too, apparently he had an "acid flashback"

  • @Trippylaud there will always be at least one troll on every YouTube video! Don't mind them and their incessant need to troll. And i agree, Bradford's vocals in this performance are solid. As much as i love theem, his vocals live haven't always been their strongest point imo.

  • This guys confirms why are one of the best bands of our days

  • whoa, that psych bridge part in super cool 3:25 gave me the willies

  • this is radical... but a little too fast

  • Cole!!!

  • ahh! so good. I wish they played a longer so I could watch it longer!
