I don't think this is a Dover, I think its an Otis. I also think the "car coming" button is smart, because while it is lit, it tells the person the car is coming!

I think "Car Coming" means that when the button is lit up, that means the car is on its way. They tried to portray it that way, but obviously, they had little success.

This elevator reminds me the one at a community centre in Mississauga. It's not there anymore because they renovated the whole entire place in 2005-06. From what I've remembered the motor sounded just like this elevator's but I don't remember what the buttons looked like, they might of looked like this probably. The fan cover was kind of strange, it looked like a smoke detector. Btw, you did a very good job on this vid and it brings back the memories of that old elevator. :D

I think that is a very old Dover elevator. Captainelevator42189 posted an elevator that had those exact same buttons

It also might be an old Armor elevator. This one's motor sounded the same on my Armor elevator vid.

I was at a hospital in May to vistit someone there was an an old elevator there that said car coming it doesnt make sence it should say car call but I wasnt aloud to use it. it was for doctors but the ones I rodeare really fast

first the elevator is very old

second the button should say Car Call

and third it is a mongomery or otis elevator
