In my opinion Chad is really not that good as an actor, he's very plain. Specially when he's doing scenes like this one with Sophia, you just see the big different. She's a brilliant actress.
I think some of that was real considering the actress and actor were married and then divorce a short time later. Don't know the circumstances surrounding their divorce except rumors of Chad's infidelty towards Sophia. Anyway, great scene and acting from Sophia.
I think Sophia is really letting her emotions out in this. You can see how hurt she really was when Chad hurt her & this scene portrays it perfectly. I just wish Chopia never broke up.. but now I'm glad she's got Austin, because he's a wonderful guy & she deserves him. (':

In my opinion Brooke ah, she even loves lucas loves Peyton ah ate more than she loves living is several things that hurt the lucas, and he I think he was in love with her, so that their true love and that in both Peyton sixth season he marries her, ah Peyton loves lucas so, so much love from that the only evidence that the more love lucas and Brooke she prefers to see him happy with who she loves. She was able to renuciar his great love for him be happy, yes and a real test of love!

I agree..I love this show and do not miss a week! I think this scene she did was probably one of her best even of the movies she has done...but i can't help to think that one of the biggest reasons she played such a good scene at this point had a lot to do with sophia and chads past....if you think about it and listen it kinda has the same background of what they really went through when they were going through their real breakup. I think it helped her with doing so GREAT in this scene!

i realize that there is a big leyton/brucas controversy going on here...i personally am a leyton fan(disagree with me yell at me curse at me shoot me...whatever). peyton and lucas were planned since the pilot episode. i fell in love with them season one and rooted for them ever since. lucas had to go back to peyton or else everything that happened in the pilot and most of season one would have been pointless

I laugh at how almost all the examples you show me are from Season 4, the season where the writers fucked up the whole show and ditched Brucas for Leyton because they thought having a divorced married couple as an on-screen couple would be awkward. Leyton will always be Plan B. Watch how the writers were so quick to ruin Brucas and Jeyton, two amazing couples, at the end of Season 3. Two couples that they spent all of Seasons 2 and 3 building. Doesn't make any sense at all.

"Thou shalt use CS real life divorce to explain away why my couple didnt make it." Because heaven forbid you face the facts it simply wasnt meant to be.
And Jeyton? Really? They're cute, but only shipped by fans who think BL stand a chance if Peyton isnt single.

Watch all of Season 2 and the first half of Season 3 up until the shooting, the writers were obviously trying to make BL a couple that was meant to be. CS split up, and ever since then, the OTH writers have been re-writing history, acting like BL was just a high-school fling with LP being "true love." CS split up when 3x13 was being filmed. LP hints resurfaced in 3x16 when Peyton kissed Lucas. Coincidence? I think not.
Couldn't agree more. Those 3 couples are THE couples of One Tree Hill. Meant to be together, but I think Naley is the only good endgame we're gonna get. :[

when she says 'let me all the way in' she means she wants him to allow her to get close to him. she feels he is not letting her get close to him.

They actually broke up at the beginning of filming of season three and this was the the season 3 finale.

I watched this episode with my boyfriend yesterday and told him about how I cried the first time (or few times?) I watched it, and he thought I was crazy.
But then I remembered I have this scene up on her and what a lot of you guys are saying is exactly what I said to him.
It's definitely Sophia pouring out some real feelings here, and that's why it's so heartbreaking.

i realize that there is a big leyton/brucas controversy going on here...i personally am a leyton fan(disagree with me yell at me curse at me shoot me...whatever). peyton and lucas were planned since the pilot episode. i fell in love with them season one and rooted for them ever since. lucas had to go back to peyton or else everything that happened in the pilot and most of season one would have been pointless

Watch the end of episode 3x09 where Naley and Brucas both make up with eachother at the same time. I laugh at how almost all the examples you show me are from Season 4, the season where the writers fucked up the whole show and ditched Brucas for Leyton because they thought having a divorced married couple as an on-screen couple would be awkward. Leyton will always be Plan B. Watch how the writers were so quick to ruin Brucas and Jeyton, two amazing couples, at the end of Season 3. Two couples that they spent all of Seasons 2 and 3 building. Doesn't make any sense at all.

The reason that argument is used so much is because it's blatantly true. Watch all of Season 2 and the first half of Season 3 up until the shooting, the writers were obviously trying to make BL a couple that was meant to be. CS split up, and ever since then, the OTH writers have been re-writing history, acting like BL was just a high-school fling with LP being "true love." CS split up when 3x13 was being filmed. LP hints resurfaced in 3x16 when Peyton kissed Lucas. Coincidence? I think not.

this scene is so powerful, sophia is an amazing actress and brooke's crying was upsetting to see, made me cry. also the fact that sophia was probably using the pain from her real life break up with chad in this scene is even more heartbreaking. amazing job though.
also, am i the only one who is not a fan of brucas and i never feel any chemistry between them? i know im gonna get slated for saying that but i can just never feel any chemistry between them. sorry to say lol. :)
