  • i got a red 77 lotus . good tone for what it s

  • an my numbers on the back of the neck

  • Mine doesn't have any numbers at all on it. Except maybe the electronics. It just has the Lotus badge and that's it.

  • mines just a sticker tho

  • Do you know when yours was made? I've heard that they were made from the 70's until just a couple of years ago. Any idea where yours was made?

  • yea feb 1969

  • Is there a date stamp somewhere like where fender puts theirs in the neck pocket? Also I would be curious to know how the back of the neck looks. The back of the neck on mine looks almost like quilted maple. Wish the whole guitar was like that.

  • o asnd i cant remember but i read some where but i think they made them form the late 60's and quit making them in 80,90's, i think for being a copie they are pretty damn good

  • well the date was under the pick guard and ill try to take a pic of the neck

  • got the same guitar was made in 69 in india

  • I have the same guitar. do you know where to find the serial numbers on it???

  • It doesn't even have a "made in" sticker on it. I believe mine was made in Korea in the 80's. Perhaps if the neck and body were separated? I have pretty much taken everything else apart. My next project on it will be to pot the pickups in wax. It is a really nice strat. The back of the neck almost looks like quilted maple. Pretty heavy for a strat also.

  • where'd you get the lotus? i have one, but EVERYTHING IS MISSING except the body, neck and tuners. any suggestions for cheap parts to fix it up? the output jack, even the bridge is gone. any info would be good. thx btw nice playing!

  • Man that sucks. In my opinion this guitar has the best sounding pickups of any strat I have ever heard. EVER. (but they are noisy as hell.) I think that your best option would be to just buy an extra lotus off of eBay. I've seen them go for like $25-$50. Try to find one of the 1980's ones though. If not hey, maybe you can just get some good parts and build it up to be a decent guitar. I've been thinking about getting another one and putting some Dimarzio Blade pickups in it.

  • I need that foot board.lol-is it for sale

  • This has been sold, but you never know what I'll get. I've sold a few of those in the past. If I run into one this week I'll let you know.
