Can't wait for the new Dark Shadows movie to come out. It will be interesting to see Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins. But even he can't hold a candle to Jonathon Frid.
@mkl62 From what I've read on other site about Johnny Depp playing Barnabas, the reactions are mixed. One clames he's Micheal Jackson with fangs; I'll wait and see for myself. I will agree that Jonathan Frid will be a tough act to follow. I watched the 60's soap as a kid- it was the ONLY slop opera I watched religously. Thanx.
TV Guide magazine said that both films will finally come to DVD, the question is when. NODS' DVD will feature over 30 minutes of previously unseen footage!

I love this movie. I wish Night of Dark Shadows was as good as this one. DS was great.
