@JoroTheMan of course it's Liam. just like everyone else has been saying, anyone who knows their early demos knows that Liam's voice was very different on the early stuff. He was still a teenager for God's sake, his voice was much smoother. And if you watch the definitely maybe dvd bonehead says his old girlfriend said that at 17 Liam's voice sounded like a little bird.

Liam sounds surprisingly gentle in this demo, and as early as 1995 Liam's voice was coming under stress as you can hear in some live vids from that time (this is more obvious in later vids). It was thought that the way Liam leaned over when singing was damaging his voice, which is a shame for such a great singer :/

People would be smart to realise that no singer sounds the same from their early twenties to nearly being 40! Sorry to break people's bubble about overrating early Oasis but Liam sounds like a kid here and not the arrogant rocker he wants to be, which is why he choosed to deliver his vocals more aggressively as he grew more experienced.

I saw them twice this years, and it was really hard to hear Liam just screaming lyrics instead of the actual singing.

The reason why Liam's voice has changed so much is because of his singing pose. Throat leaned upwards against the mic really put pressure on his vocal chords, do that for 15 years and you're sold. Just watch him now, he doesn't sing like that, or at least not so bad anymore. Chain smoking or drug abuse has nothing to do with it.
