  • I like how the top two comments are roasts against the same person

  • Comment removed

  • I remember a time when my mom took me to the doctor and paid the Dr. $8. No HMO, no insurance and the doctor gave me a shot for the flu and all for $8. Health insurance is the damnation of our democracy.

  • It's Truly amazing how people "used to" afford these same doctors "Before" health insurance which helped to increase the price, of lets say, Tylenol, to a mere $1000's or so, just because your received it inside the hospital, hmmm...

  • Bill Maher no thats not the way the worlds work when government enslaves you.

In a free world yes, that is how the world works.

  • RON PAUL's HEALTH CARE STRATEGY WOULD DECREASE THE HEALTH-CARE COSTS BY 90% ALLOW "ALTERNATIVE" NATURAL HEALTH-CARE THAT MEANS REAL HEALING OF VARIOUS ILLNESSES WILL OCCUR FOR FIRST TIME IN 75 YEARS OF POISONS RUNNING THE "HEALTH/MEDICARE" TODAY. AND SIGNIFICANT PART OF THAT IS THE LEGALIZATION OF CANNABIS/HEMP .

  • @OnlyHempFuture

YES MAYBE BUT DR. PAUL'S STANCE ON LAISSEZ-FAIRE CAPITALISM WOULD ALLOW FOR PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES. DR. PAUL THINKS THAT LAWSUITS AND LEGAL ACTION WILL FORCE AN UNREGULATED INDUSTRY INTO DOING THE RIGHT THING. IS ANYONE REALLY DUMB ENOUGH TO BELIEVE THAT??? DO YOU THINK DUPONT CAN'T AFFORD TO FIGHT YOU IN COURT FOR 20 YEARS FOR A WRONGFUL DEATH OR FOR THAT MATTER THE FUTURE VICTIMS OF MONSANTO'S POLLUTION AND NEGLIGENCE? LIBERTARIANS ARE NAIVE.

  • @KallyJones When Ron Paul is President, Dupont and Monsanto will get quite larger Problems than Courts, as this time they have to meet the Peoples Court and no Media will cover them this time, No FDA nor any political apartment to hide under as none of them will withstand the light of truth, this time they have to face the People as a Nation not any courts. And an other thing, in stead of FDA the People Can/Will regulate that No Harmful chemicals may enter our Food nor Medicine.

  • @OnlyHempFuture

Seriously. I'd like you to read what you just wrote and tell me if you're seriously naive enough to believe that. Regulations prevent death and stare decisis means nothing in a courts system that can be bought and sold. Dr. Paul's fans terrify me with their naivete.

  • Wait a minute Ron paul is not against health care!! This what this people that talk bad a about republicans like republicans do about them want you to think. They are the same type of people just with a few differences. That Bieng said RP wants the states to choose weather or not they want health care or not. THE PEOPLE CHOOSE ACORDING TO RON PAUL!!

  • Wow, Ron Paul fans don't like criticism, do they?

  • @Logarithmify NO THEY DON'T :D

  • @Logarithmify I certainly agree with you here, but can you blame them? RP has stated many times these types of programs are the last on the list (most specifically medicaid/SS). The government effectively has a contract with these people. It will be easy to save these programs if we cut military spending. As far as universal care, I think it is going to be a disaster. The healthcare industry is going to hide everything they want all of the time and swindle us for a lot of money...

  • @CautionCU Good point, but the thing that irks me is, many of the comments I see against Libertarian principles are from people who see a broken system and, rather than fix it, they want us to waste more money finding ways to maneuver around it! LOL The solution is simple in most cases - eliminate the middle man which happens to be our government.

  • @RevJohn Things like Social Security were paid for and these people deserve the things they own at a minimum. The rest of it I can't disagree with.

  • @CautionCU I live in England where de have universal heathcare. Sure it's not perfect but no one every goes bankrupt or dies because of costs. Interestingly, as a proportion of GDP the US spends almost twice as much as the UK does, yet we manage to treat everyone for free.

  • @Logarithmify It is certainly a noble goal and I would trade dollar for dollar turning our military spending into health care spending in a heartbeat. My big concern is that Washington works for our businesses and not for the people. I am not sure it will all turn out well in the end. We shall see soon enough.

  • @CautionCU Well, I wish you luck. Our conservative government are currently attempting to privatise heathcare, despite them having almost zero support.

  • @Logarithmify We haven't had universal for 200 years previous so I suppose worse things could happen in the world. We could be running govt spending at 40% of GDP. (lol)

  • The Universal Health Care system in Canada worked very well for about 25 years. Then the unionized health care workers and the unionized Government employees needed higher wages so the Government started to cut funding to the health care system in order to pay all those unionized employees higher wages. Now the Government started shutting down hospitals in rural communities in order to afford higher wages for the unionized employees. Now they're starting a 2-tier system so the rich get care 1st.

  • @drummer4theperish Sounds like a distraction to keep people fighting amongst themselves so they don't have time to see the bigger picture and causes of the situation. May be different, but time and time again, what few unions are left, as the company defaults on the agreement, take less hours, pay and benefits just to keep the jobs here. Yet companies make more profit, while breaching a contract they signed, take no responsibility for mismanagement and somehow make unions the villain. Amazing

  • @jayde5 Except both the Healthcare employees and Gov't employees are paid by the Gov't. So, while the Gov't is cutting services it is collecting more tax dollars to pay the employees. The Gov't often legislates a higher cost of living for the citizens and immediately votes itself a big fat wage hike.

There are still lots of Unions here, just no industry; as most work has been out sourced to Asia. Also, the Union operators (not the members), are often "in bed" with the Government, ie kickbacks.

  • @drummer4theperish Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, with humans, there is always a bad one in there somewhere it seems. I just hate it when it's the one that is supposed to be on your side! Obama stopped the government wage increases here - Don't know if still in affect or not. I will definitely follow up and do some more research on this.

  • You can talk about this like you think people are selfish etc. But the truth is that the current law is BOUGHT AND PAID FOR by the hospitals. Do think they are doing this out of the kindness of their heart? Because they care about your health? It is neither of those things. THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY. As much of your money as they can get. They don't even care if they make anyone feel any better. As long as they get all of your money. Really you people should think through this a little more.

  • @CautionCU Couldn't have said it better myself - Thank you!!!

  • ok first off all to all you sheep who say bill maher turned his back on ron paul if you ever watch bill maher on anything besides fox news you'll know that he actually LIKES ron paul he was not scewering him he was talking about the ignorant shithooks in the audience that were cheering people dying just because you like a politician doesnt mean you cant disagree with them on some things he was a staunch supporter of obama in the 08 election but doesnt hesitate calling him out when he fucks up

  • @joeakalionheart the 'overly libertarian' ideas Ron Paul has he wouldn't have carte blanche on anyway. But a logical sensible voice from the Whitehouse would really help congress get more useful stuff done. Bill Maher HAS said he thinks some of Ron's ideas are a little out there, but I would agree that Maher will always respect him for his intelligence and reasonable attitudes. Given the megalo mania in politics we need some megalomaniacs on the side of social justice just to stay competitive.

  • @joeakalionheart <-------- MSNBC mushroom:

kept in the dark and fed horseshit.

  • @xCrazyxJayx *Slow clap*

  • When you intellectually take down Ron Paul, his bots attack en mass.

  • FUCK YOU BILL MAHER! YOU TURNED YOUR BACK ON THE LAST HONEST POLITICIAN. FUCK YOU.

  • @Albertus747 I TYPE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I WANT TO LOOK LIKE I MATTER

  • @xCrazyxJayx and a hell of a lot easier to read

  • @Albertus747 CAREFULL THERE, YOU'R GOING TO GET MAHER ALL SWEATY AND NERVOUS EVEN THINKING ABOUT YOU

  • Bill Maher destroyed Ron Paul here. Haha

  • @96QQB NO---------I THINK HE DESTROYED HIMSELF, MAHER PROBABLY SLEEPS IN A CLOSET WITH ONE BLANKET AND CRIES HIMSELF TO SLEEP

  • @onebaud1 Let me further explain. I don't want people dying at the curb. I want people to pay for what they get. If he or she can't afford it, they need to borrow AND pay it off. And that is not what happens today. Doctors and people in the medical field are the only people that CAN NOT go to a collection agency. Where as cable TV or car dealerships can. No more filing for bankruptcy. I just believe in fairness in everything. Including a flat tax.

  • @Moonawrathic YOU GOT MY VOTE

  • Society do not have to let the man in comma dies, but society != goverment.

  • Ron Paul is the only candidate, Obama included that is a PEACE / CIVIL LIBERTY candidate.

Even if ALL the bad things about RP is true, you live without benefits, poor, hungry. Even if you pay no tax your country is not killing innocents.

You just have to show your ruler, aka "elites" of your priority, show them war is not acceptable, to the extend that you are willing to be poor. Maybe the "elite" playing you like a sim character will treat you with some respect because you say no for once?!

  • people, Maher doesn't understand Ron Paul! He is not cold-hearted - he is the kindest and warmest person!

He is just saying that government should not be involved in health car on the federal level. NOBODY IS GOING TO DIE ON THE STREETS- he, himself treated poor people free!

  • @Astra2012 Ron Paul seems a sincere, rational and intelligent man. Except americans ARE dying. And not just the ones some say deserve it either. Insurance companies already demonstrate how private for profit has changed the focus from the original point of their existence. It's not about providing health care, but at least if not more about finding ways to deny paying claims for profits. Like abstinence only pro-lifers being against public education and social services. It doesn't work.

  • Bill Maher doesn't understand personal liberty- it also means responibility!

    i thought he was smarter...

  • @Astra2012 False - From years of examples, he has shown he understands and agrees with the part about taking personal responsibility to the point he would like more of those in office to try taking some for themselves. He is also making a point on the attitude and hypocrisy in the game. He likes and respects Ron Paul. He of all people gets it.

  • @Astra2012 So society should stand by and let the dude in the coma die? It really is a yes or no answer

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN bullshit ---when have you ever heard of some one not getting care when they are in a coma or any other problem -------name one

  • @Moonawrathic Can You Spell: S-e-l-f-i-s-h-n-e-s-s?

  • @FreeMason34 I think it's selfish for people who can afford insurance not to get it and expect the doctors to pay for it.

  • @Moonawrathic.Talk to me about economics, I´ll understand. However, The Provision of Health in a civil society cannot be seen as a social commodity anymore, there is something called social evolution. As much as some would like it, truth is that we are not living in the stoneage. Kill Wall Street! End the Fed! sure... but don´t kill the moral fiber that makes us care for each to the degree in which we view each other as mere dollars and numbers. That would plainly be psychopathic behaviour.

  • @FreeMason34 I watched that debate and his answer wasnt as simple as Maher is making it seem. What he pretty much said was that, hes a grown man and grown men should be held accountable for their decisions. I think thats very true, especially for a 35yr old male with a stable job. He also went on to say that he used to work for $3/hr doing clinical work and that people dont get turned away at any hospital and that he saw a lot of people get help from their community or church.

  • @Maniac50AE So to me that seems fair. We're not talking about poor people or someone just establishing themselves. We're talking about someone with the means making a conscience choice, a gamble. Liberty requires responsibility.

  • @FreeMason34 The point behind this conversation is responsibility. Why would anyone want to work hard to make this world a better place when that person is receiving foodstamps, free healthcare, free education, free cell phones, free housing, free electricity, and so on. 41 million Americans are on food stamps right now. Do you think they want off? Some perhaps, others...absolutely not. I'm not for a wretched lifestyle with the average life expectancy being 35 years.

  • @Moonawrathic You really believe it is the majority? Check out the numbers since 2000 next to number of outsourced and elimination of jobs. I know there are some that fit the accusations but be real. Most of these food stamp freeloaders were made unemployed by no fault of their own. Humans actually like to be productive and self reliant if you haven't noticed. Are there exceptions, some. Others, absolutely not.

  • @Moonawrathic TRY 47 MILLION ON FOOD STAMPS, BY THE WAY THEY FOUND OUT WHAT CAUSES SICKEL CELL IN BLACKS-----LICKING FOOD STAMPS

  • @FreeMason34 I mean some of you americans are just f..... insane. So if there is somebody who is lets say a tough guy and says you know what fck goverment i dont need insurance. So just because he is stupid and he gets sick and you guys would let him die???? Let me say one thing. I wouldnt wanna live in your country. I`d rather live in my country which is not rich but has a lot of people with caompassion to one another. Peace.

  • @FreeMason34 We killed the moral fiber connecting our society together when we attacked religion, or any moral philosophical attitude within secular humanism. We shouldn't need government to take care of our neighbors and families. Free market capitalism and charity can't fix healthcare in America because there's no transparency to pricing in the hospitals, therefore, there is no competition, which is the impetus of positive change in a free market. Healthcare requires BETTER regulation.

  • @nickburnin8 THE BEST SYSTEM OUT THERE IS NO INSURANCE ------- LET THE DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS DEAL WITH EACH PERSON ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS-------SORRY DOCTOR ALL I CAN AFFORD IS 2 CHICKENS AND A SACK OF SPUDS. NOW WATCH THEIR PLUCKING RATES COME DOWN

  • @Moonawrathic Your profile proclaims you're Christian, yet your line of thinking of antithetical to that of Jesus Christ. I highly recommend that you read "The Satanic Bible" by Anton Szandon LaVey. Your comment here have already proven that you support the satanic statements #4, #5, and #6.

  • @Vondur Jesus was all about caring for the poor and healing people. But Jesus NEVER went to people, they always came to him. He came to those that believed in him, Jesus even taught us warning us not to cast pearls to the swine. Swine walk into hospitals looking for handouts. Swine leech off of our system trying to see what the government can do for them.

  • @Moonawrathic "Mankind survived THOUSAND of years without health insurance",

So, you want us go back to stone age??

  • @Moonawrathic Few notes. A) It is a necessity. Look at your insurance bills and you'll realise that hospitals bill an order of magnitude more than insurance actually pays them, it's called "negotiated rate". And I'm not joking, it's an order of magnitude difference. b) I don't think historical arguments here are a good idea. Life expectancy was ~30 years, 'doctors' would give you a blood letting and take your last chicken... it just doesn't translate to MRIs and 'civilised society'

  • @Moonawrathic

    Another Ron Paul Retard survives.

  • @Moonawrathic "Mankind has survived THOUSANDS of years without health insurance." Probably because it didn't exist until, what, maybe a century ago? Get real. There are people out there who work just as hard as you (or your parents) but that simply can't afford it. Take your head out of your ass.

  • @GoldenArc You need to know why people can't afford it before you can try to have a discussion with someone else. You can start with simple "supply and demand" economics and work through inflation and its contributors.

  • @GoldenArc And here's what I don't understand. Besides his regular practice, Dr. Ron Paul has spent HUNDREDS of hours in his spare time doing work in a charity hospital making five dollars an hour. Are you telling me OTHER physicians can't do this?? Are you telling me that we shouldn't expect them all to "give something back" to the community, like perhaps eight hours of their precious time each week? Incredible selfishness and greed has appeared in the last century! WAKE UP PEOPLE

  • @GoldenArc And one more thing involving health insurance... Believe it or not, our so-called "capitalist system" is so slanted and corrupt that you need health insurance to afford a simple visit to the doctor. When I was an eight year old boy, this was NOT the case. Something has seriously gone wrong with our economic system during the last 30 years. You do not have to accept things the way they are. We CAN change things.

  • @GoldenArc what if they skip the dope and booze, could they afford it then ?

  • @TheWindriver10 Nice baseless generalization. Does your ass hurt when you think back to the last election?

  • @GoldenArc lol good job you won a youtube argument. Do you feel better about yourself?

  • @SmithersThe I don't even remember engaging in argument, but I guess.

  • Ron Paul might actually have some good stuff to say - but his fans kill it. They're worse than screaming twilight fans. Plus, and what I hate most of all, if you say ANYTHING questioning RP they try to fucking rip your guts out. And they call you mindless, btw, just for the irony. lol

  • Stop voting for Republicans and Democrats. Either change this government by voting out these parties, or follow the example of the founders of this country. It is time to return our government back to We the People.

  • his first words in response to the question was "well, no."

  • Ron Paul is right. He should have bought insurance. Fuck him.

  • @sirroxalot

And if he were your son?

  • @TheThordir Fuck him anyway. If I don't agree with something, I stand by it. I don't change my tune just because it might benefit a loved one.

  • @sirroxalot

Spoken like a true believer (tm). Have fun.

  • @TheThordir Have a good one.

  • @sirroxalot I only hope you get in a horrible car accident and some firefight goes "Fuck him, he should have been driving slower." So sick of this 'natural selection' bullshit from you people. Stop claiming that it's some kind of moral thing - YOU'RE JUST A SELFISH ASSHOLE. At least own up to it like the man you claim to be.

  • @EJNewbury Ok. In your opinion I'm a selfish asshole. Quick question though: if he could have afforded insurance, but instead decided he wanted the other taxpayers to pay for him, wouldn't HE be the selfish one? Fair enough?

  • @sirroxalot First off, it's not my opinion - you ARE a selfish asshole if you think other people should just be left to die. Second, YES he would be, but the problem with you mindless fucks is you miss the point. A.) That's not the usual case!!! B.) Just because someone does something wrong they should be left to die. What's the point of calling it civilization if we're not even going to act civilized. Now, leave me alone, people like you make me lose hope in humanity.

  • @EJNewbury If you let someone else effect your beliefs then you have more problems than I care to mention. I wish you all the best, though.

  • @sirroxalot Seriously? Do you have any idea how ignorant an idea that is?? Making reasoned arguments to eachother and being persuaded is one of the greatest things about our culture. We can CHANGE our minds if we're illuminated by reason and critical thinking. Now, about 'General Will' I suggest you buy some books by a man named Rosseau. The idea that you just basically said 'if you're not completely pig headed than you're stupid' is so dumb, haha. Lastly, it's 'affect' when it's a verb. Same2u.

  • @EJNewbury At least we can argue humanely without going to war.

  • @TinyMcLarge Genetics play a huge role, not just bacon. But your obviously a republican, so I'm not going to try kicking water uphill by using logic...

  • RonPaul2012...listen to what he says...then you'll understand what he says...Puppets...puppets...Take the hand out of your ass and think for yourself

  • @TinyMcLarge Actually we let people die all the time. If a poor, uninsured person has an infection or laceration, the hospital will take care of this of course because it is immediately life threatening. What if the same person needs expensive cancer treatment or a bypass surgery? Not gonna happen...

  • @TinyMcLarge The question was what do we do with this young man in a comma who doesn't have health insurance, do we let him die? All Paul said was no. That's not really an answer. What should society do with this person?

  • @TinyMcLarge He didn't really answer the question, maybe because the cheers and jeers of the fucking republican cheer leaders we have seen so much of this year wouldn't let him answer. But these guys make a valid point, it is not sane to cheer about letting someone die. These people are psychotic...

  • RON PAUL VS OBAMA 2012

  • @capistons BUSH AND BUSH JR PUSHED AMERICA TOO FAR BACK WITH THEIR PERSONAL UNDER THE TABLE DEALS.

  • Comment removed

  • If free market cant save this man, the state fund cant too, consequences

    1 someone might die

2 bankrupt then more people die

  • ok,sounds great, wait a minute, where is the money? continue to borrow from China? lol

  • Okay, so lemme get this straight: Ron Paul, who delivered literally hundreds of babies at ZERO COST for poor people in his hometown, is a heartless bastard? Paul's stance is that he believes we all have a responsibility to help those in need, but that he as a politician has neither the authority nor the right to forcibly take money from individual Americans to dole out as HE sees fit. Sadly, the truth doesn't fit well into Maher's simplistic "good vs. evil" narrative.

  • @songitecht This deserves to be top rated comment...

  • bill maher is a filthy kyke nwo scum

  • Ron Paul is a douche, Bill Maher as well,

  • This is some real shitty reasoning on Bill Maher's part. Ron Paul comes out looking even better, honestly.

  • I just got to say, I'm happy to live in Finland. Here I don't have to fear that I might end up dead because someone is not interested in helping me if I'm sick or injured.

  • @condemned70 Because society leaving your health care needs to a bunch of 'wise central organisers' is far more compassionate than people actually getting involved themselves...? Right that makes a lot of sense...

  • @erelpc I have know idea what you are talking about. If you get run over by a car, would you rather go to a medical center where there are licensed doctors or would you rather just lay on the street and Hope someone is interested enough to try to help you? You don't complain about your town's fire department, do you? Or the fact that not all the shops are own by locals? I gladly pay more taxes so Everybody who needs help will get it.

  • @condemned70 Where in my post did I go into a discussion on the pragmatism of free market versus state funded health care. I have no idea what you're talking about, but obviously comprehension isn't your strong point in this case.

Have another quick read and you might realise I was specifically refuting your point that state funded/organised health care is somehow more compassionate than the opposite charity/markets. Not debating how practical either system is in comparison.

  • @erelpc Really!? Because it seemed to me like you were trying to do exactly what you just denied doing: debate the benefits of government vs private health care systems. Let me just say that your notion of 'wise central organizers' exists in the US private health care system as well. The big difference is that in the US system they are obsessed with making profit. I'm pretty sure that our HMO system has your doctor working for the insurance companies... Conflict on interest? DUH!

  • @SnugglePuma Well I still can't be bothered to get into this and if you want to debate health care systems there's plenty of other other people and youtube video for you to do so, and I've been there before too many times. But I'll just point out 2 things:

I don't live in the US so never experienced the system, but I definitely read into it enough to know that it doesnt even remotely resemble a free-market one. It's entirely lobbied for by drugs, insurance & other special interests.

  • @condemned70 And somehow after one post on this one particular topic, you happen to know all my views on anything completely irrelevant like local shops, fire brigades, and taxation...? LOL

  • @erelpc You don't understand how they are related to this issue, do you kid? And as for your other post, you're talking about something completely irrelevant. You are refuting my point that state funded health care is more compassionate than the alternatives, which wasn't my point at all! In my first post I was merely stating that it's nice to live in a country, where you don't have to pay for heatlh care when alternative could be what those people in the video are saying "Let him die!"

  • @erelpc And I have to add that it's really fun how in the second message you address to me you're trying to insult me and that's why I have to ask, are you a christian? Because if you are, is that what your Bible and Jesus tells you to do? Pathetic.

  • @condemned70 No I'm an atheist. More assumptions. LOL

  • @condemned70 If US bankrupt,Europe might follow, then you have a lot to worry about.

  • @lamucs Yeah you are right and that's probably true other way around too. But to be honest I not entirely sure why you pointed this out specifically to me..?

  • @lamucs Europe is leading the way

  • @condemned70 Finland is pretty legit, I'd like to visit again.

  • @condemned70 I'm glad you don't either

  • "We are a weathly coumtry" he says??? We are broke!!!

  • IBill Maher is cool, but I have to disagree...American's are being babied and relying on the government way too much. We need to buck up and provide for ourselves, we shouldn't be sacrificing any amount of freedom or rights for the "security" the government provides for us. The founding fathers already went through everything we're going through, they learned, the constitution is there so we don't repeat history...but unfortunatly the powers that be are trying hard to go down that road again.

  • @DropKnowledgeNoBombs I agree with you but when you have such a gap between the rich and poor, something needs to be done to level the playing field. Once that happens, self reliance can take place.

  • It's not moral to forcefully take money from one person to take care of another who refuses to take care of himself.

  • @airbreather123 They all say this until they are in that guys position. You assume he "refuses to take care of himself", how do you know that he simply can't afford it? A lot of Americans have had to drop health care coverage in the last 3 years because they can't afford it or their employer won't pay for it. Not everyone is a rich cock sucker like yourself...

  • I'll probably vote for Ron Paul if he wins, because this country's empire has gotten out of control, and government control is getting to that point, and our Byzantine mutant form of common law.

That said, if anyone else running wins, I'll be voting for Obama.

  • @IoEstasCedonta you know that he is racist, pro life, doesn't believe in the separation of church and state, and wants to completely eliminate all social safety nets? that means no social security, no welfare, no unemployment benefits, no financial aid for college, and no wards for the mentally insane? it's pretty much the wild west... i mean sure getting out of the middle east and legalizing pot would be great... but at what cost?

  • @supportgoodrap1003 This is wrong, he Wants to give people the choice to opt-out of social security, and the states take control of the welfare. Ron pauls plan to go back to the gold standard the cost for education would drop because the value of the dollar would go up, and if we took the government out of education then college costs would go down even more so.

  • @gothicphoenix13 Cont. Also i think welfare should take a hard looking at with so many people living there entire lives on welfare and not once try to provide for themselves. Because they know the government will cater to them. Ron paul is also right On the idea that there was a lot of free hospitals like the shriner's before the government got involved and the costs went to an astronomically high level causing them to fail

  • ......Continued....

Obama has closed out the Iraq war....why aren't you giving him at least a little credit for that?

Ron Paul has SERIOUS race issues with African Americans and Jews, there is NO DOUBT about that.

His views are almost to the point of ANARCHY and instead of "small government"....he wants NO Government.

Sorry, but he is too damn extremist for my taste.....

Oh and he has ABSOLUTELY NO SHOT at being the GOP nominee, Romney is basically a lock.

....and Obama will wipe the floor

  • @boxbreaker2011 Bush actually signed for the Iraq War to be over in 2008. Obama then actually tried to keep them in longer. What is interesting it that he changed his mind is that the Iraqi government said it would not guarantee legal immunity to the troops for any crimes they committed. So now, the pullout.

Ron Paul has hired black people, admired black economists. He is against the drug war which disproportionately hurts black people more. Same thing with jews.

  • @boxbreaker2011 Continued...

Ron Paul said his greatest influences were Ludwig Von Mises and Murray Rothbard, both of whom were jews. He named his son Rand after Ayn Rand, a jew turned atheist.

So the idea that he has any race issues is nonsense.

Ron Paul has repeatedly said he stood up for police, military and the constitution and the rule of law.

I think people who accuse this of being no government are the true anarchists, because they want a dictator to do whatever the hell he wants.

  • @boxbreaker2011 Obama is a left wing dictator wanna be, as evident by his actions. I will never vote for him in a million years. If Paul loses the nomination, I will encourage as many people to not vote and stop supporting the American government because the people in it are criminals who don't obey the very laws they swore to uphold.

  • Ron Paul supporters are fucking retarded....

Just because he has one or two good ideas doesn't make his 10 HORRIBLE ideas go away.

Just because he's the LEAST craziest in the GOP doesn't make him a good candidate.

Just because he wants to end all wars and end the fed doesn't mean it will ACTUALLY happen.

FUCK, what are you people smoking, I agree Obama has not been great but next to any GOP candidate he's STILL the best choice.

  • @boxbreaker2011 "Just because he wants to end all wars and end the fed doesn't mean it will ACTUALLY happen.

FUCK, what are you people smoking, I agree Obama has not been great but next to any GOP candidate he's STILL the best choice."

So Obama will end the wars and the Fed?

  • @nurbSoldier NO, Obama CAN'T end ANY war or the fed, those ideas (although I would like that to happen) are basically IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Ron Paul blatantly lies to people by saying he can do those things when he obviously CAN'T!

Again....Obama might not be the best or even "good" but he's still more stable and sane compared to anyone in the GOP and that includes Ron Paul...

Oh BTW, Ron Paul is the same guy who believes that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 should be repealed...

  • @boxbreaker2011 "Ron Paul blatantly lies to people by saying he can do those things when he obviously CAN'T" what are you, a lawyer?

"Obama might not be the best or even "good" but he's still more stable and sane compared to anyone in the GOP and that includes Ron Paul.."

guess who just made it even easier for the government to arrest anyone without a warrant or trial?

Guess who multiplied the George W Bush gigantic spending wastes?

Guess who forgot to close gitmo?

  • @nurbSoldier .....Continued....

Like I said....Obama has NOT been great, I agree with some of your points, but AGAIN, you act as if Congress had nothing to say about everything you listed.

and NO I will NEVER believe that a GOP candidate is a good thing for this Country.

It's THEIR ideology that sets us back and makes the whole FUCKING WORLD hate us..

  • @boxbreaker2011 How much does the DLC or DNC pay you?

You are seriously sugarcoating things and acting like a sad partisan if your reaction to him acting like Bush the 3rd is "not so great". What frustrates me is that democrats treated bush almost like hitler for doing the same stuff. Guess what? I stood with them.

But now I feel like democrats have betrayed me with hypocrisy.

I don't like the republican party either. They are guilty of all the things you said. But Ron Paul is a exception

  • @nurbSoldier LOL bro, if someone was paying me to say things I would at least make videos.....don't you think?

Anyways, saying that Obama is "Bush the 3rd" is so exaggerated and AGAIN ignores how Congress has STOPPED any and ALL progressive legislature that Obama has wanted to push through.

For example Obama WANTED the PUBLIC OPTION for Health Care.....and then the GOP went on a tirade about how there would be "Death Panels"....do you remember that?

  • @boxbreaker2011 It is only not an exaggeration, it is an understatement. If the only difference you care about is something trivial like healthcare, you really are clueless and/or inconsiderate.

Your'e the kind of douche who would support anyone provided that they get free stuff. In a way, I bet you are a nihilist

  • @nurbSoldier Let me ask you a SERIOUS question....

Do you really believe that Ron Paul can win the GOP nomination?

If you say yes you gotta remember that many Evangelical conservatives DON'T like him. And despite everything you say, he is considered by the GOP establishment to be to extreme.

In other words his chances are slim to nil....

Let me ask you a second question.....WHEN the GOP chooses Romney as it's nominee who will you vote for?

    Obama or Romney?

  • @boxbreaker2011 well, an optimist fan (and a college professor) of his says he has a 50% chance. Another guy who is of very similar ideology said he has zero chance. This other guy said that if Paul makes it in, it will only be because they want to blame their collapse on a libertarian - handing him the controls at the last minute, after the titanic hit the iceberg.

Bottom line is it is Ron Paul or nobody. If Romney wins the nomination, I will support educating the public grassroots style.

  • @nurbSoldier "Bottom line it's RP or nobody"

You see, that's why I can't stand RP supporters, you guys are ABSOLUTIST...

This reminds me of Obama vs. Hillary, sure I didn't really like Hillary as President but I wouldn't say "It's Obama or nobody"....If Hillary had been the nominee I would've voted for her.

So according to you guys, you would rather have a GOP candidate who could set us back socially and continue to pander to the rich....possibly LOWER the top tax brackets and......continued.

  • @boxbreaker2011 because I there are only a few people bothering to read these conversations, all I will say from here is read Lysander Spooner. Have a nice day.

  • @nurbSoldier .....Continued.....

Romney or any other GOP are only interested in making the U.S a theocracy and taking away EVERY safety net we have, including social security, unemployment, welfare, medicare, etc.

At least with Obama we know he would never take those things away, and he continues to fight for the "ordinary people".

Progressive is ALWAYS better than traditionalist...

I for one do NOT want to return to 2001 - 2008.

  • @boxbreaker2011 Guess who pushed through more unpopular bailouts?

Guess who undid nothing Bush did?

Guess who broke his promise on marijuana?

Guess who practically took over General Motors, giving them collasal failures like the Chevy Volt?

Now, unless you are a member of the DNC, I suggest you read up on Dr. Paul's voting record and what he actually said about 64'.

  • @nurbSoldier You talk as if CONGRESS had NOTHING to do with EVERYTHING you just listed....

    But I'll entertain you....

Guess who CONTINUES to push a higher tax rate for the wealthiest Americans?

Guess who FINALLY killed Osama Bin Laden and put an close to the Iraq war?

Guess WHY GM is still producing cars instead of being extinct?

Guess who TRIED to FINALLY improve the abysmal Healthcare system we have in this country ONLY to be brought down by the FUCKING GOP??

    I'm an Independent BTW...

  • Bill Maher is a flip-flopper; he said earlier this year in an interview w/ anderson cooper that ron paul is the only republican he would consider voting for.

  • @thesimpsons2345 When have you heard him say he that wouldn't consider voting for Ron Paul? He's criticizing Paul, but he criticizes everybody, including Obama.

  • @EricTerman He's said in numerous recent interviews that "Mitt Romney is the only one standing between us and the rise of the apes" (look it up on youtube), meaning that he thinks Romney is the only sane republican candidate. Yet a few months ago, he said in an interview w/ Anderson Cooper that the only republican candidate he would consider voting for is Ron Paul. What blatant flip-flopping.

  • First Bill Maher video I disliked ;-(

  • i like bill, but he is wrong about Paul

  • It really doesn't hurt if Bill makes a Ron Paul joke. Republicans don't really pay any mind to Bill. If anything it helps him.

  • Tea Partier are ruthless brutes that should go back to the Stone Age.

  • @visvaldisX The Tea Party people have consistently behaved themselves at protests. They have had practically no arrests and always clean up after themselves. They also chase out the crackpots.

Occupy Wall Street on the other hand...

  • I bet Bill Maher is too much of a pude to ever have Ron Paul on his show and say this kind of shite....

  • a heartless bastard? yeah, tell that to the 4000+ babies he's delivered including their mothers. Bill u r so silly, silly goose. what do u know about medicine and health care?

  • Bill Maher is so stupid sometimes. I bet i can beat him in a debate on his own show. Ron Paul 2012!

  • Was this before or after Ron Paul was on Bill Maher?

  • nice olbermann - when have you EVER worked in a hospital - you don't know shit kid.

And to try to act like you're beliefs are to help everyone... fuck you -

What about people with diabtes - where is their government program? are we just going to LET THEM DIE - why don't we just keep vegetables on life support and NEVER LET THEM DIE because that would be INHUMANE -

YOU DRAW the line somewhere of where YOU'RE willing to let someone die - so don't talk like you care about people more than ron

  • Wow, I hate how they don't bring up the fact that it's your responsibility (not the governments) to support some poor sap who didn't get health insurance. It's your responsibility because you will be indirectly paying for their health care with your taxes. And your taxes will go up exponentially. Without everyone having health care our country's greatest expense is health care. Can you imagine if it was given freely to everyone?

  • Dosent anyone know the term "Pro Bono"?? Doctors take an oath to help all those that they can It is an 'Honor' system!
