This music video was very sad because anyone who lived in the 80's knows that this was the last music video of this band before they broke up. Song title "Walk Away" was quite an indication of what was going to happen to this amazing yet underrated band. Good old 80's.

Dysfunctional was the last cd they did together with all four of them and it was dysfunctional.....

George did all of his recording in his studio in Arizona and sent the guitar parts in to them.....he didn't even want to do the cd....

I like how Jeff Pilson always detunes his E string to get lower notes. Then he always uses such different notes. He never goes for the norm. I think he is one of the best bassists in rock music. I'm a guitar player/singer but I find my self listening to the bass playing when I put Dokken on.

If I'm not mistaken but I believe it was contract obligations that forced Don and George to do this song together...By this time they were well into not liking each other for whatever reasons...You can tell that George was trying to play hard in what Don wanted as a slow kind of ballad, allot of head butting, one wanted to play harder stuff and the other wanted more ballads...Two egos that big in the same room tend to wear thin after some time...Yes, the last true Dokken song indeed...

I remember when this video premiered on MTV (back when I was still in highschool). It was preceded with the announcement that the band had broken up. It was a sad night. It was hard to enjoy the song while being that stunned. Luckily I got to see the band years later (during George's 'hulk' days).

I saw a question about his gear. He was a big influence on me playing guitar but I don't recall what he was using. He constantly changed his gear so I doubt even he'd remember what he used then.
