I used love shooting the elvis line ppl with the machine gun lol and taking the game out and put your music cd in the game! certain cars played certain traccs and the muhfucca kept playin w/o freezing you gotta love this classic.!!!!!!

wow in such a short time we went from that to what we have now. Technology sure is moving quick I mean a century ago we had wonders of what lied above and now we have been to the moon we have sent bots to mars...all thats left is light speed and once we have that then our potential for finding life will be done. I remember as a kid where I only had my toys the yard and my parents. Now I have tv, games, fancy and expensive things that will probably get tossed out once a newer version comes out :/

Wasted!!! I loved this game!, well in fact i only play the GTA2, it's pretty similar,but in GTA 2 there was the SWAT team, FBI and the ARMY. it was awesome!, That's how things were done! no map, when you were driving you had to be alert to not hit a wall jajja and you had to memorize where everything was! , also there were some very twisted missions.Amazing game!

I have 13 years old but I know this game is not only about to kill random people in the streets, Grand theft auto have a really good storyline, even my little cousin of 8 years have played san andreas only because its funny to kill people and steal a ferrari, But grand theft auto is like a action movie with comedy and drama is not just about graphics..

In gta you are really free to do what you want. all missions are optional. you dont have to pass them to get to the next city. GTA has pretty much everything you see in newer versions and has no crap such as going to gym and girlfriends shit.

This game was the shit when it came out, me and my mates spent hours and hours killing cops and squashing people with cars and then doing doughnuts in their blood!... Only one save point "Jesus saves", fixed (and hilariously crap) radio stations, no way of saving your cars, and getting bonus points for mowing down an entire group of Buddist monks!. Standing in the street spinning round on the spot firing your machine gun were common things, and you just had to know your way around the map
