Oops, Jordison I mean. And CoB isnt really melodic death metal. You can see the difference when you listen to Wintersun, which is melodic dm, and this. Metallum says CoB is power metal, and various say its its own genre.

Nah, I never have told you to listen to other music? Are you high? I never said CoB was metalcore? How high are you? Even if someone put a gun to my head would I say COB pure melodic death metal. Its more of power metal, the guitars are rough, and the melodies arent a big part of their songs. Both Metallum and wikipedia say: Melodic dm/power metal. And power metal is way closer to Cob than mdm.

Alexi channel feelings of injustice from his mind to his fretboard.The lyrics to me seem to have an overwhelming sense of despair and helplessness, giving rise to hatred. The opening riff is very dark.The second solo seems to be in comparison an upbeat rest from the rest of the song, but the verse riff comes smashing down like the hammer of armageddon.All in all, Sixpounder is one of the best metal songs out there, and a testament to the other-worldy talent all of the band posesses.
