in th finnally of earthworm jim in the Early game you lanched a cow up in their air and their you defeated the queen and them hoping to be with Queen Whatz her name, but unfortnally the cow squat her

I loved this game but It was pretty easy I'll admit, well... I had some trouble at "Down the Tubes i'll admit" but it wasn't as bad as the underwater level on Sonic and tails LOL~!!!!!

In any way, I again just finished the PC versions of EWJ 1 (95 SE) and 2 (DOS) and having played both games on other consoles I like the PC versions the best.

The animations feel superior.

The soundtrack is in full cd quality.

The Windows 95 version of the 1st game adds much more level-detail and animations, not to forget the awesome ending speech and movie/animations.

I could go on for a few more lines, which I won't.

wel then the sega cd version is better then both so is the pc version but indeed genesis just owns the snes it has spee while snes not.the dras faster not much slowdown and it can animate way more sprite in screen etc its not al about colour count we loved nes and it hadnt much colours so,and ever step forward is progress and the genesis was first 16 bit home console some may discuss tg pc engine but system plain sucks it bores to death.

As much as I like the SNES, the Genesis/Mega Drive version of EWJ was way better. One of the few times the Genesis didn't get the shitty end of the stick with a multi-format title!

Wow, what an idiot you are. The genesis version is concluded as the best earthworm jim version. Their is a glitch where you can kill the queen in 1 hit and he exposed it. YOu should play the genesis version yourself so you can wipe your butt on your statement

I've played both versions. I liked the SNES version better. So what? The glitch has nothing to do with it- it's not like Nintendo games don't have their share of cheap exploits. The music and sound effects on the Sega version are MUCH worse, and I found it harder to control for some reason.

Also the sound effects & music are WAAAY better, it tops the snes' and especially the gba's in quality. i wonder why they ruined the other ports and removed intestinal distress in the snes version...

I also wonder why there is the mega drive and the genesis, which are the exact same thing....
