Ausgezeichnet. Petr Wagner ist ein großer Virtuose. Mir gefällt dieser Canale Grande sehr gut! Besonders schön die differenzierten Klangfarben und Tempo-Variationen.

@mgliii It's a Viola da Gamba, and it's not related to the cello. It's closer to guitars than anything else. It evolved in Spain from an instrument called the Vihuela. When the instrument was plucked like a guitar it was called Vihuela de mano, and when it was bowed it was called vihuela de arco. It eventually evolved into what you see here. They fell into disuse, because the cello is louder and fits better within the orchestra, but there is a renewed interest for these noble early instruments.
