i think madara is the strongest enemy in naruto =/ cause his been alive since like first hokage? and he can mathc the 4th hokage in battle -he can teleport and make things go thorugh him :O....but on an episode where he talks to sasuke when you see his face part its all old.... x)

The picture clearly indicates that his Sharingan isn't active, whatsoever.

When Tobi confronts Itachi for the first time.."During the flashback and just before the Uchiha Massacre" are you people honestly going to suggest that Obito is standing before him? You're truly at the pinnacle of stupidity. The ability to type in caps and use exclamation marks does not make your point valid. Tobi is an alias that Madara conjured up to put on a charade and hide his identity, they are the same person. We have all seen him switch between the Tobi/Madara Persona.

So, I think It's safe to say that the true purpose of the mask, is to keep something about his face hidden. (This could be anything, which further augments the suspense.) This doesn't pertain to hiding his Identity, for being Madara Uchiha. We already know who he is. Yet, like I stated before, Kishi wouldn't allow us to witness him unmask in front of Kisame. You've got to be more optimistic.
the Tobi=Obito would be no longer a tussle for truth. As the 467 chapter summarizes: Madara is just Madara. And he didnt say anything about taking a BODY of someone like Obito. by this space time ninjutsu he possess, he can evade attacks, teleports wherever he wants but no reanimation and sublugation jutsus that could transfer him to another body. the way i see it right now. if Obito being madara, it would still be of NO IMPORTANCE to the story.

No, it's not. The reason they only show one eye is because there's only one eye hole on the mask, which is a complete swirl. The reason the mask itself is a swirl has something to do with the space-time technique that Madara uses to teleport. If you've ever read the manga, you'd see what I mean. When Madara teleports, his body swirls into the mask; meaning the mask is the main factor.
That's a well conceived theory, no doubt. But, there's one problem. After Sasuke's eyes.."From Itachi's Implanted Amaterasu" Struck Madara's body, the mask completely fell to the ground. Afterwards, Madara still escaped the onslaught; via Space/Time Jutsu. So, his mask Isn't Involved.
Yeah, but the mask could have still used the space-time even while being on the floor. The new chapter has confirmed that the space-time ninjutsu is used by the mask.
Well, the possibility is plausible. But, the mask's eyehole is also transfixed on Madara's right eye. It could easily be his Sharingan that's executing the Space/Time Continuum. Not to mention, he possessed a different modeled mask, when he first confronted Itachi. Anything within his range, could very well be corresponding to the technique, Including the mask. When it first fell to the floor, there were no Indications or reactions coming from it, when Madara had been struck by Amaterasu.
Masks containing supernatural powers, in stories, have been done to death. I doubt Kishimoto would resort to that. It's too simple. It'd be extremely stupid for Madara to rely on such an artifact, regardless. Itachi, before anyone, would have figured this out. And, Instead of directing it towards his body, he would've aimed it for The Mask.
It was the same mask that he had worn when he met with Itachi, Madara just had longer hair. Itachi also wouldn't necessarily know Madara's secret abilities other than his Sharingan; so it's pointless to come up with that consumption. Anyways, the chapter already confirmed it being the mask, hence why they get sucked into the mask when he transports Sasuke and Karin. Maybe a powered mask is common, but Kishimoto still chose to use.
In the flashback, The pattern of the mask was subtly different from the one he's currently using. How do we know it was the mask they got sucked into, per se? Kakashi's Kamui is able to suck Individual's into a separate dimension, and it's his ability with the Mangekyo Sharingan. There's another Important factor to keep in mind. If the mask is what's capable of executing The Space/Time continuum, and it doesn't require the person who possesses it to be wearing it, then why does Madara?
You're overlooking the fact that when Madara had been struck by Amaterasu, the mask didn't respond in any way. No reaction, no dimensional portal in sight, etc. According to what you claim, the mask's able to manipulate Space and Time, regardless of the user not wearing it. If this were true, then there would be no reason for Madara to wear it, plain and simple.
I'm sure Madara controls the mask himself, so it would respond accordingly to his command. It didn't even show what he did to get out of the Amaterasu in the chapter, so you shouldn't even be referring to that. There's an obvious reason as to why he would wear the mask. 1) It was solely to hide his identity. 2) It's a mask for a reason, it belongs on the face. Are you trying to imply that he should hold the mask in his hand, rather than wear it?
That's exactly what doesn't add up. The "Madara" in this era=100+ years of age. His hair is cut back, wrinkles are obviously noticeable in his blemish. Now, let's go back to him playing the role of "Tobi." During the whole charade, he Intentionally kept his Sharingan well suppressed. (Apparently, so nobody would suspect him of being Uchiha Madara.) Here's the problem. The Kage's are now aware of his Identity. His guise is diminished, or so it seems. -Continued-
So, why continue to wear the mask..If its purpose is now gone? Now, I can only assume that you're going to state something like.."It's because his Space/Time Continuum relies solely on the power of the mask." Which would also, not add up. During Madara's first confrontation with Itachi, the mask consisted of tiger-like stripes running down the base of the material. Getting back to the point, there's obviously some yet to be revealed, plot twist, concerning the mask. I'm strongly confident that the mask's purpose is not merely to hide his Identity. Why? The man is 100+ years of age, nobody's going to recognize him. He's not going to have the appearance he did in adolescence. o_O
You're right, we don't know the specifics of how Madara escaped Itachi's Amaterasu. BUT, we've previously witnessed just how he escapes from debilitating maneuvers. 1. When Sasuke attempted to pull a fast one with Kusanagi, the blade warped completely through Madara's body. Did we see him transmission himself into the mask? No~ 2. Based on episode 125 of Shippuuden, Including Chapter 364- The Target, we also do not see him warp into the mask, after dismissing his meeting with Konan, and Pain~
So, If the mask is Intended to cloak his "Identification", then why is it that Kishimoto refuses to show us his facial features? Kisame Immediately labeled him as Mizukage/Madara, upon seeing his face. He's openly admitted his alias to a select group of people. Now that the Kage's are aware of his continuing existence, the word will spread that Uchiha Madara, is in fact, alive. But, there's still the fact that Madara insists on wearing the dreaded thing.

You're truly at the pinnacle of stupidity. The ability to type in caps and use exclamation marks does not make your point valid. Tobi is an alias that Madara conjured up to put on a charade and hide his identity, they are the same person. We have all seen him switch between the Tobi/Madara Persona.
A perfect example to prove this is episode 142. Tobi first confronts Kisame as his frolicking persona, then presents his true self shortly after.

You are comparing Tobi to Obito, just because of appearance. "Most notably, the haircut." Well, you might wanna take another look at chapter 400-In hell. The flashback shows Itachi's first confrontation with.."Tobi" and he has exactly the same hair as Madara and also a different mask model.

So, I think It's safe to say that the true purpose of the mask, is to keep something about his face hidden. (This could be anything, which further augments the suspense.) This doesn't pertain to hiding his Identity, for being Madara Uchiha. We already know who he is. Yet, like I stated before, Kishi wouldn't allow us to witness him unmask in front of Kisame. You've got to be more optimistic.

the Tobi=Obito would be no longer a tussle for truth. As the 467 chapter summarizes: Madara is just Madara. And he didnt say anything about taking a BODY of someone like Obito. by this space time ninjutsu he possess, he can evade attacks, teleports wherever he wants but no reanimation and sublugation jutsus that could transfer him to another body. the way i see it right now. if Obito being madara, it would still be of NO IMPORTANCE to the story.

No, it's not. The reason they only show one eye is because there's only one eye hole on the mask, which is a complete swirl. The reason the mask itself is a swirl has something to do with the space-time technique that Madara uses to teleport. If you've ever read the manga, you'd see what I mean. When Madara teleports, his body swirls into the mask; meaning the mask is the main factor.

That's a well conceived theory, no doubt. But, there's one problem. After Sasuke's eyes.."From Itachi's Implanted Amaterasu" Struck Madara's body, the mask completely fell to the ground. Afterwards, Madara still escaped the onslaught; via Space/Time Jutsu. So, his mask Isn't Involved.

Well, the possibility is plausible. But, the mask's eyehole is also transfixed on Madara's right eye. It could easily be his Sharingan that's executing the Space/Time Continuum. Not to mention, he possessed a different modeled mask, when he first confronted Itachi. Anything within his range, could very well be corresponding to the technique, Including the mask. When it first fell to the floor, there were no Indications or reactions coming from it, when Madara had been struck by Amaterasu.

Masks containing supernatural powers, in stories, have been done to death. I doubt Kishimoto would resort to that. It's too simple. It'd be extremely stupid for Madara to rely on such an artifact, regardless. Itachi, before anyone, would have figured this out. And, Instead of directing it towards his body, he would've aimed it for The Mask.

It was the same mask that he had worn when he met with Itachi, Madara just had longer hair. Itachi also wouldn't necessarily know Madara's secret abilities other than his Sharingan; so it's pointless to come up with that consumption. Anyways, the chapter already confirmed it being the mask, hence why they get sucked into the mask when he transports Sasuke and Karin. Maybe a powered mask is common, but Kishimoto still chose to use.

In the flashback, The pattern of the mask was subtly different from the one he's currently using. How do we know it was the mask they got sucked into, per se? Kakashi's Kamui is able to suck Individual's into a separate dimension, and it's his ability with the Mangekyo Sharingan. There's another Important factor to keep in mind. If the mask is what's capable of executing The Space/Time continuum, and it doesn't require the person who possesses it to be wearing it, then why does Madara?

You're overlooking the fact that when Madara had been struck by Amaterasu, the mask didn't respond in any way. No reaction, no dimensional portal in sight, etc. According to what you claim, the mask's able to manipulate Space and Time, regardless of the user not wearing it. If this were true, then there would be no reason for Madara to wear it, plain and simple.

It didn't even show what he did to get out of the Amaterasu in the chapter, so you shouldn't even be referring to that. There's an obvious reason as to why he would wear the mask. 1) It was solely to hide his identity. 2) It's a mask for a reason, it belongs on the face. Are you trying to imply that he should hold the mask in his hand, rather than wear it?

That's exactly what doesn't add up. The "Madara" in this era=100+ years of age. His hair is cut back, wrinkles are obviously noticeable in his blemish. Now, let's go back to him playing the role of "Tobi." During the whole charade, he Intentionally kept his Sharingan well suppressed. (Apparently, so nobody would suspect him of being Uchiha Madara.) Getting back to the point, there's obviously some yet to be revealed, plot twist, concerning the mask. I'm strongly confident that the mask's purpose is not merely to hide his Identity. Why? Because he continues to wear it, even after revealing himself to the Kage's, and many other people. More Importantly, there's no need to worry about concealing his appearance. The man is 100+ years of age, nobody's going to recognize him. He's not going to have the appearance he did in adolescence. o_O

You're right, we don't know the specifics of how Madara escaped Itachi's Amaterasu. BUT, we've previously witnessed just how he escapes from debilitating maneuvers. 1. When Sasuke attempted to pull a fast one with Kusanagi, the blade warped completely through Madara's body. Did we see him transmission himself into the mask? No~ 2. Based on episode 125 of Shippuuden, Including Chapter 364- The Target, we also do not see him warp into the mask, after dismissing his meeting with Konan, and Pain~

i kno i jus found the website to read the manga and i read where the show left off and im on 430 now so u were rite but i didnt think he was because they portreyed madara as sum1 with a murderos vicious intent and tobi as an easy going fun person so i apologize u r rite =] but theres no need to kall me names
