  • NEXT THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!

  • what a bullshit dance XD

    -Troll Intended-

  • hey i guys - no I'm not a hater just to clarify - i was wondering if the music used for this video was the one they were actually dancing to. or was it a superimposed soundtrack? i do latin btw. their steps didn't seem to hit the beat. just an honest question guys, no offense to their dance. they r awesome - wd take me decades to get there

  • @gl3nn90 it is the original song and they're exactly on the beat :)

  • @xxMTBxx cheers :) my computer must be lagging then. Thank you

  • Their synchronisation here is amazing. As well as Karina's footwork and overall technique. They were the best in my opinion.

  • His legs mezmorise me totally!!!

  • WOW so fantastick!

  • Are they the pupils of the Hiltons?

  • tez tak chcę tanczyc!!

  • КЛАСС!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • crap music

  • is Karina Smirnoff on Dancing with the stars tv show?

  • @bigdogITbiker yes she is

  • @CLAWCARBOY18...CHECK OUT THE REAL CHA CHA...v=rBhK-DcAF14

  • @zxcvbnrebus This version of cha cha you showed us looks very easy my grandmother can do this. Slavik and Karina show highly trained skills and better timing and footwork. If this is authentic cha cha then give me the dancesport version much more exciting and sexy

  • @zxcvbnrebus Check out even more real cha cha v=VENWCD2V78I&feature=related

  • @zxcvbnrebus it's ok, these "ballroom" fools have done the same thing to samba!

im so sick of the ballroom comunity

  • @zxcvbnrebus

Really, if you have any interest in ballroomdancing, you love this dance!

And they are world star dansers! This is a show version of chacha, in wapacha-rythme.

And if you say that 99.9% of all people including teachers know nothing about ballroomdancing..

Ow well, all teachers (in the Netherlands) are old champions of the Dutch Open and Netherlands Championship. They know EXACTLY where they are talking about!! You ballroom-hater..

  • @clawcarboy18...my AGRICULTURAL surrounders tell me that the beat in cha cha is 2,3 ...4 and 1. Listening to the music played in this vid and looking at their movements, it is obvious that their movements do not correspond to the music played because the music played is NOT cha cha. Syncopating all of your moves makes you look like a monkey just doing a learned routine. 99.9% know nothing about music or dancing and that includes dance teachers !!!!!!!!!

  • @zxcvbnrebus

Although the piece of chacha music used in this video is not 'orthodoxical' in a way,but it is too naive to say their movements are not corresponding to the music. We all know, even with little knowledge of LA dancing, that the step count is different from the rhythmic music count.,let alone Slavik/Karina.Furthermore ,if you are doing the most basic figures in the exam.,the it is a must that your step 1 has to be on music count 2 etc, but not mandatory in variations .

  • Zx, you are probably fat ass Internet flamer who obviously knows nothing about this level of dancing.

So please post a picture of YOU dancing this if it is so easy as to a monkey can do.

  • @CDAFishboy

BTW,Zx 's grandmother must be former world champion or something!

Furhtermore, whether a routine is easy is one thing, but to dance it beautifully is another thing. I also can dance the routine, but far from the standard!

  • That was the definition of dance from Dictionary. Com

    Now let's try SWAY

    1. to move or swing to and fro, as something fixed at one end or resting on a support.

  • 1. to move one's feet or body, or both, rhythmically in a pattern of steps, esp. to the accompaniment of music.

  • Total garbage !!! Don't you people know what the definition of dancing is ???

FYI... DANCING IS ....SWAYING one's body to THE MUSIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your moves and steps have nothing to do with the music playing. Any MONKEY

CAN DO THAT...except the world champions do it a bit better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @zxcvbnrebus Ill have to agree with CDAFishboy at this point, dancing is an art, that takes many forms and your agricultural form of dancing may be respected by your surrounders though just swaying someones body at least in my eyes doesnt count as dancing at all.

the music and count is that of ChaCha which might be hard to understand if you dont know it, thats why ill grant you that mistake. though ill tell you, they are spot on the beat, every single step.

you say any monkey can do this show it

I would kill to dance and look like her!

I think I'll have to practise a little more...

  • He is one of the most visual best dancers I have ever seen

  • anyone who doesnt know this couple, doesnt know Latin.

  • total agree with you

  • karina's HOTT!!!

  • oh i love her footwork. very sharp and graceful!:-)

  • great, lots of energy. LOve it... Slavik your the best.

  • Where are these two from?

  • Im sure they represent USA in comp? You can google them I guess...

  • Yes,maybe I'll google them. Thanks

  • I know they were both in that dance movie with J-Lo and Richard Gere... im pretty sure they now reside in the states

  • Well Karina definitely lives here, and I saw her in Shall We Dance (the movie you're referring to), but I didn't see Slavik in it. In fact, i haven't really heard a lot about Slavik.

  • Slavik was in the movie Shall We Dance. He was at the end. Jlo's ballroom dance partner.. If I'm not wrong that is..

  • Just amaaaazinggg!!!! They are so cute and last but not least unbeleivable compatible!!! The best dance couple!!!

  • I get chills cuz they are sooo good!

  • the music is good.

  • Outstanding!

  • great dance couple

  • Is this international cha cha?

  • yes

  • can anyone tell me the name of the song?

  • Jimmy Barnes - Chain of Fools

  • thx

  • Yeah, saw him performing locally once.. He is good. To be honest, this is more West Coast then cha cha..

  • very nice footwork from both karina and slavik.... she has perfect control of her body weight....i am still working on that lol....

  • OMG :D soooooooooooo NICE :D

I want to dance like that BUT ... :pxD It wil take time xD:p

    WHHAHAAH

  • they´re great

  • who knows the title of this song?

  • it's "chain of fools" but this is a (very artistically liberated) remake of the original

  • thank you sooooo much :*:*

  • Jimmy Barnes sings this version

  • The dance called CHA CHA CHA ...

  • i love this video. .

  • i really love her body...i love them they are LEGEND!

  • King and Queen of dance!!! They're absolutly amazing!!

  • slavikm is cool he has a nice body and he´s dancing very well!!!

    are they russian?

  • i think he is..i heard Karina say on TV Guide channel that she was Greek..

  • Shes Ukranian.

  • they're both Ukrainian

  • they're Russians from Ukraina...;-)

  • how are they Russian? Both of their names are Ukrainian - Karinas's real name is "Kylko" as well Slavik's name is Ukrainian.

  • What makes you say "Kylko" is her real name? Her father is Greek, Her mother is Russian.

The name "Karyna Kylkova" was given to her by Paul Killick when she danced with him because he thought it sounded like a stronger pair.

  • goodness gracious Karina has a nice bod. If only i could dance 1/2 as good as that

  • To azucenap, her heels are 3in. There are many brands of shoes it's all about your arch and how your feet settle in the shoe. Personaly 3" are more comfortable to me because I have a high arch, but most wear a 2 1/2" it all depends on comfort and support. Rey Rose, Dance Naturals, Supadance, International and Dancefeel are some of the top of the line latin dance shoes. Rey Rose are my favorites but I have had Supadance and Dance Naturals in the past. Best of luck shopping!

  • yerffejal, you can buy the tapes or cd's at Dance Vision. You can google it, but they have all types of instructional dvds and videos of all famous dancers such as Slavik and Karina and Yulia and Max, Hannah Karttunen and Paul Killick and many more. Best of luck.

  • Super Slavik!! King of latin dancer!!!

  • Does he have any bones in his hips? Unbelievable..just watch the first 30 seconds. omg...

  • well he doesn't have bones at all!:)

  • hi 2 all the AVID FAN of KARINA-SLAVIK! I am too! I just want to know if where can I buy there INSTRUCTIONAL DVD's because it has lot of informations specially for those who are interedted to become a professional one! I hope someone would reply on me! I love you KARINA-SLAVIK! More power to both of you eventhough your not dancing together anymore! I WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR NO. 1 FAN! MWAHHHHHH! God bless!

  • Slavik is so damn good ! Look at his hips work ! They are my favorites !

  • I want those shoes! Does anybody know how high they are? Where I can get them? Thanks!

  • standard female heel heights are 2 1/2 to 3 inch!(6-7cm)

  • I can just recommend to buy the innovation series DVD's. Good explanations that are worth every cent you put in. It just avoids so many common mistakes that even good coaches can't see.

Save a few private lessons and buy this DVD!

  • shit they are so good they have got a lot of tech

  • Bravo!!!!!

  • How can she dance with those heels!!

  • um...it's ballroom dancing.. you're supposed to dance in heels...

  • the shoes actually have a course leather sole which stops slippin and the ankle is supported from the heel of the shoe which makes it very easy to dance in them

  • The heels help you to stand on the ball of your foot. That's essential for all latin dancing(even though in paso doble are some heel actions).

  • I actually think it is easier to dance in heels because like maximilianfink said there are a lot of latin moves on the ball of your foot.

  • title:chain of fools

  • great hip action and a great song..does anybody know who does this version of chain of fools????

  • im pretty sure its Joe Cocker, and I found him singing this song... but its not this exact version which im super disappointed about... post back if you have better luck :)

  • thanks for you'rre response....but its not joe cocker.......its driving me crazy trying to find out who sings this version....its the best i've heard....

  • I found it. Jimmy Barnes sings it. :)

  • thanks....

  • nah this isnt their best at all ive seen so much better from karina

  • goooooooooood! 100, hogy ők is úgy kezdték, hogy: "csacsacsaegykét";)

  • This is the real thing. To compare the two styles, what you have seen is more of a sloppy version, while this is more of broom up your a.. style. Music:cha cha is a 4/4 at a determined beat per minute speed. What they are doing looks easy. That's the point. This form of dancing is know as the most difficult thing to do well on earth. Anybody can dance and that's fine. Only a few could dance like that. Hope this helps you understand a litle bit more. Check out the IDSF website. :)

  • After switching from Rhythm (American) to Latin (International), I have had to learn the 5 dances all over again..and I left ChaCha for last. Dear goodness....ChaCha is so insanely hard. With the straight legs and the hip action, it's killer on the waist, knees, and ankles when you're getting accustomed to it. I can truly appreciate what Slavik and Karina are doing so fluidly and natural here in this video after that.

  • the hip action is cc is not deliberate. all international style latin dances has hip action because you have bending and straightening of the leg. The hip action will come naturally if you have bending and straightening of the leg. this is esp true in chacha as the music is fast. if you have deliberate hip action, you will be off time.

ps: this is more west coast swing music than cc.

  • I agree completely that unlearning is much more difficult than learning from the beginning! Therefore good education should be started very young, not until the less desirable education takes roots! This is my experience in dancing.Too bad the good stuff was never available until some bad habits formed permanently inside me which I could not get rid off even I tried! dance(dot)net

  • whatz the problem with them?i don't understand...i luv them they r gorgeous NastyRican!...if u don't know how 2 dance cha cha that doesn't mean that nobody knows...she's a queen and his a king & they dance more than very well!

  • ok, you are really ignorant and close-minded. This is an internationally recognized form STYLIZED latin dancing. Yes, cha cha is originally danced to Cuban music and I'm sure South Americans do their own authentic versions of mambo, samba, cha cha, rumba very much differently. But this is competitive Latin dancesport and is an established art form. And by the way, I am agree that there is a different form of cha cha danced elsewhere in the world. If I'm open to that, so can you.

  • Super Slavik!! King of latin dancer!!!

  • I am a true rican and done latin dancing for years what they are doing is fine you have no clue what your talkin about not all cha cha is done in spanish music u need to listen to the beat its a cha cha beatoh mi gente muda del dios actualmente hacen el cha del cha que necesito profesionalmente llenarte adentro en bailar latino verdadero de este chica puerto-rican que sea originalmente de Puerto Rico

  • wow, you really suck ...

  • it's international style latin at it's best- you obv don't know what you're talking about

  • slavik is the god of competition latin dancers

  • slavik is theeeee god of latin dancers!

im sry to say it, but your wroooooong!

  • O Gott... Not again... You really hate them?! Why?? They're fabulous!!

  • Great chreography and fantastic body motion and movement!!! by the way, does anybody know the singer of this song? I know the title is 'Chain of fools' but there are so many different versions by various singers.
