This is bullshit. Socionics should never be brought to the masses. Those who read young know what this is about. There is so much more than categorizing your friends. It's about comprehending oneself and others. If anyone really. Knows what they're talking about, theyd be able to tell you exactly how a type is determined.
I heard the origin of the method is in Russia, and the best written book is in this language. Do you know anything about a Hebrew edition of this book? Is there any correlation to the 9 types of the aniagram (sorry if I mis-spelled) method?
@ClothCanopy - I second that. It's pop Socionics. Then again, a lot of Socionix, esp the newer stuff, are in Russian, so the language barrier somewhat makes it hard for the rest of us to plunge deeep.
No one person can really understand the subjective implications behind every type and every information element, so please, take all of this "specialization" or whatever you personally would like to call it, with a grain of salt. This isn't MBTI all over again. As for my type, the IEI, I don't think the book accurately portrayed it.
I like how you included the successive summations of the type core motivesan apropos introduction to the new social science that is Socionics. Your book on Socionics is a clear/concise guide & helpmate in understanding our most preferred way to energize our selves, gather information about our experiential life/relationships, and make self actualizing decisions. In general, Socionics is about developing accurate self knowledge, a focused productivity, and healthy growth.
This doesn't work.
I'm still mystified.

In my opinion Spencer Stern is not credible enough to be publishing a book that can influence how we view ourselves and others.
Most of his work is just rehashed internet research. I like the way he uses Sergei Ganin's lowercase "p" at the end of his type descriptions. Silly.
