  • I got their first two albums....finally, when they hung out with those guys from EWF they started to sound right.

  • Nope, after listening to the Jamaican tongue for the past 25yrs, mMark King doesnt sound Jamaican....well not to me

  • Oh go away! If you don't like then don't watch!

  • yes sorry 1983 haha (gimme a break I'm nearly 39)

  • Im not flaming but why does Mark sound Jamaican in this? isn't he brittish?

  • Absolutely love this song...find it very sexy

  • fantastic

  • 1st heard this 1982. Still love em.

  • correct me if iam wrong...but dont you mean 1983????

  • its from there fourth album...standing in the light??

  • Anyone know what the Bass in mark is playing is it a WAL by any chance?

  • That's an alembic.

  • Thanks for that nice tone too

  • It's an Ashley Pangborne Warlord bass. U.K. made, no longer in buisiness. Mark tried out two Pangborne basses at their shop back in the early '80's and he wanted them to build him two Warlord basses for free. They agreed to have Mark pay for one bass and they would build the other for free. The second Pangborne bass can be seen in the "Lessons In Love" video. He no longer owns these basses like nearly all the Jaydees that were made for him.

  • Actually I need to correct myself, the second Pangborne bass which is a maple color can be seen in the "Weave Your Spell" video. The bass that is seen here in this video is the same bass in the "Lessons In Love" video.

  • I heard this bass was an Alembic, (I don't know much about basses) is this true? and what is an Alembic?

  • No, this isnt an Alembic..as specified above it is indeed a Pangborne bass..he plays a Pangborne in quite a few live vids..Alembics are mega-funking basses..my personal fave of the King of Bass...look up the website for Alembic...they are sweet and they have his trade'mark' LEDs in the neck....SWEET

  • Mark be layin' down the funk!

  • god damn they were so good with the gould brothers. i love them! and mark...too precious for words in this video :)

  • This was my Jam. i bought the popular albulm with "Something About You" and "Lessons in Love". Then I bought "Level Best"!

  • this is great and it doesn't sound that dated either.level 42 rock!

  • I never new until now that level 42 was the group who did this song. You learn something everyday they say.

  • awesome song, defiantly one of their best

  • Yeah, this is the jam.
