  • Esse cara é puro Feeling!

  • Not too tough to see why the pronounciation is confusing. My German professor always said that it was the "second" vowel that was pronounced. The first is silent.

So Feiten in German is "F-Eye-ten"

But hey...this ain't Germany. And who wants to argue with Bette?

F-eee-ten is how I've always heard it.

  • Very tasty and that is a very nice Anderson Buzz is playing!

  • バジ フェイトンはカッコイイ!nice play!

    AAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++++++

  • Always the master of good taste..I met Buzz once long ago when he and Neil were backing Bonnie Bramlett on tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd. When I asked him why he was doing the tour he said "work is work"...Good answer I always thought. Nice to see his ethic panned out.

  • Yes indeed. Also, there is a good board recording of one of the Bramlett w/ Neil & Buzz in her band. It's great stuff with some great Buzz solos.

  • Neil is currently with leonard Cohen ( with Roscoe Beck and Tom Brechlein - who recommended Buzz to Weckl ) Buzz has a new album out on Oct 15th on a Japanese label with Brandon Fields - what joy .. cant wait .

Buzz is one of the wonders of the world to my ears .. he just generates pure joy and excitement in his playing . I'm so glad to hear he's still able to keep going .

  • pure genius.

  • so she said "fee-ten" which is how I thought it was pronounced so why does everyone say "fay-ten"? what's up with that?

  • I always heard it as "Feeten". That's the way it was pronounced from the stage also.

  • Thats the way it is ( how Buzz says it ). If there were any justice in the world there would be no discussion and it would be as easy for people to grasp as pronouncing the words Eric and Clapton .. a great bandleader and all round modest guy who is not afraid to put better players than himself on the same stage .. like Derek Trucks !

  • great player.. bottom line...

  • I met Buzzy at Ronnie Scotts in London when he was touring with Dave Weckyl in 1998. We chatted after the show for at least 15 minutes. Amongst the many things he has done, we talked about the Larsen Feiten band. Buzzy had no idea that they were known in the UK and that his effortless style and feel as a musician was recognised. He was probably one of the nicest 'names' if not THE nicest a name I've had the pleasure of chatting with. A true gent and a fabulous crafstman.

  • Agreed. I met Buzz in NYC at a guitar store and he talked to me for quite a while about what pedals he uses and scale lengths of guitars. I was concerned about monopolizing his time and forgot to take this opportunity to ask him to show me the "correct" was to play Jungle Walk, my loss. Buzz is the best !!

  • well wich pedals did he use?::D:DD:D:D

  • In his early day I dont think he used a single pedal .. later on a Boss Compressor sustainer .. Alesis reverb .. not much else ... its in his hands .. esp his right hand attack .. well and of course what he chooses to play .

    Buzz is the man ..

  • Short and very Strong,Buzzy my man, always playing from the heart, the Blues never far away, all those shreders should listen to this man to feel what soul means,5 stars,Victor.

  • totally awsome five stars!

  • Exactly Bette ... the Buzzmeister .. the greatest in my book .

In case you see this .. Hi Buzz .. its George here Hope you're well and happy .
