Yes we made a diagnosis of this type of cancer (malignant phylloides tumor) at our 3T Breast MRI facility three years ago. She had been to an OPEN MRI scanner which totally missed the 30 cancers she had in her breast. 3T MRI is the best MRI for breast MRI. I agree mostly with this doctor. He said he was going to talk about equipment but he did not. You need 3T breast MRI, digital mammography and super high resolution sonography. There is a new type from Supersonic Imagine a french company
This is very interesting. I have a very rare type of breast cancer/sarcoma called a malignant phyllodes tumor. This is a type of cancer that actually begins growing in the connective tissue of the breast. It accounts for less than 1/10th of 1% of breast cancer types.
How about malignant phyllodes tumors? You have forgotten my type of breast cancer.
It grows in the connective tissue of the breast, and is a sarcoma. It is rare, but it will still kill you. Please include ALL types of breast cancers when discussing breast cancer.
I'm not an expert! But in all cancers the best protection in nature is genetic diversity. Produce children with a person who is as genetically as different as you as possible. USA-CHINA, ARAB-EUROPEAN, SOUTH PACIFIC- NORTHERN EUROPE. Only DNA variation in CODE is the best protection. Love your neighbor literally.
