the resurrection is contained in codex sinaticus it contains all references to the resurrection in all the Gospels just the gospel of mark has a shorter ending it ends at 16:8 where Mary Magdalene sees the tomb is empty and an angel tells her jesus has been raised. Mark originally did not contain the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples found in other gospels. And if you think im lying go read it for yourself the entire thing is online.

You're forgetting ONE major issue. MUCH of the book has disintegrated and faded. There is quite a bit missing. Also, you've only found a few statements that are missing about who Jesus was, what about ALL the other statements within the Codex that confirms who He is? Good try, but no cigar.

There were four main New Testament versions: Byzantine, Western, Alexandrine, and Caesarian.
The Byzantine maintains the original text.
The Western was copied rather freely and had extensive additions.
The Alexandrine attempted to reduce the Western, but removed some of the original text.
The Caesarian was a combination of the Byzantine and Alexandrine.
Codex Sinaiticus follows the Alexandrine Textform, which has numerous omissions in contrast to all other textforms.

Christendom tends to idolise Jesus who was a bloke: the 'Sons of God' were specifically messengers; otherwise Jesus entitled himself 'son of man' and chose to 'speak his father's words'... rather than his own, he was a messenger, annointed and all of that stuff, but he was still fully human... granted, his gene pool gave him a certain advantage over the rest of us but, hey! Thou shalt have no other Gods before me sez the Most High in Exodus 20.

I'm sorry but if you can't trust the Bible (and that's any written version to date) then surely that means that you have no faith in believing any other historical resource. So that means that people who don't believe in the bible think must conseqquently say that the vikings or the romans didn't exist. Either that or they are just complete idiots who believe what the government tell them.

Anyone thought that this codex might just be someone elses version of the Bible, thus of course its goin be written different, with thing s ommitted,others kept. There were probaly many versions made. why? cos they wanted to get such an important book as best they could. hence multiple drafts till it was right.

I think there is still much needed research that needs to be done before we can really make a true decision on what is real and what is not. So far what we know is that yes the bible as we know it now has been tampered with and that some books have been thrown out. As for the codex, it is still incomplete. We all got here and was not because of science. God gave us life. The great debate is who is god really? I just want to be on the right side of the fence when its all said and done.

Science teaches us that order implicates intelligence. Order can not be born out of disorder (the term dis-order itself suggest this). The universe has an order this suggest their must be an intelligence behind it a law , rules, processes.

@RationalistAtheist You seem to forget. There wasnt just one manuscript they used to translate to English there are 24 000 pieces of Greek manuscripts that were used. So actually you are proving nothing here. And also, there are Aramaic manuscripts of the New Testament called the Khabouris manuscripts thats even more accurate in some ways than the Greek. All we need for salvation is in Scripture. You should rather be occupied with your lack of proof for evil-lusion.

@fsheppard1 I have serious doubts you was ever an atheist. I'm gonna guess and say the closest you ever thought you were to being an atheist was really just being a poor christian. In other words, you never really said to yourself that "no god exists" but perhaps just wasn't a practicing Christian. Did I get it right? Also, telling atheists you have evidence for your god and then using your bible as evidence doesn't work well from their perspective. Got any other evidence? Btw, ex-xian here.

@MarturisitorOrtodox Been there done that - in Jerusalem I saw many Jews muttering at a wall (not mocking this sacred ritual just describing what I saw), lots of people in rather loose fit garish clothing buying unconvincing religious stuff, lots of money changers and sightseers, visited the Church of the Rock, etc met a couple of very hospitable Farsi's but no 'proof'. You'd have thought god would have given us a perfect memory of a perfect handbook at birth, rather than weird mind-games

The river does not change it's course!?And even if it did you are getting cause and effect the wrong way round. The river didn't change direction because of epiphany. They did baptisms on that day BECAUSE the river changed direction and it was seen to be special.
On my way to work there wasn't a crash because I took a different route, I took a different route because there was an accident blocking the road.

tell me what you saw! If you saw the river "change its path" then how do you know its because of jesus and not just a geographical phenomenon like the Severn boar wave? You are not proving causality.
Rivers can change course...water moves. The link between britain and france known as the English Channel used to be dry land until a massive lake burst its banks flooded through carving a deep trench, now the channel. This is not "God".

You're forgetting ONE major issue. MUCH of the book has disintegrated and faded. There is quite a bit missing. Also, you've only found a few statements that are missing about who Jesus was, what about ALL the other statements within the Codex that confirms who He is? Good try, but no cigar.
